You could also use the drop shadow to add a bit more shadow behind the subject too.

No. Little personal suggestion please don't learn from basics. Just start doing things in photoshop. If you stuck youtube it, learn from there and try new things. Starting to learn from basics will destroy your interest to learn it.

@@strangers59LOL…you’re not alone. I’ll do the same exact thing that I see on other videos and cannot duplicate. I end up playing around and find another way and just keep practicing until I have it locked in
