First time I heard this violin player but really she is preforming Mozart No.4 mulch better than the famous violin players I heard before very convincing articulation and fingering she uses Spiccato when it’s need. Wish you good luck in your music journey you sound promising, because the sound production is like magic

Such a sweet and gentle sound, just what I needed to help me relax in the evening. The tone is happy in a gentle way, happy without being overly excited. It does briefly get more lively at 5:05 or so, but that is happy too. A lovely performance, thank you. 🤩 😍

I can listen to this almost every day. Such a good combination. Little bit a pity, that we can never see the hands of the pianist.

Perhaps I should not use this space to comment on another of your performances I discovered today, your deeply compelling interpretation of the Brahms G Major Sonata at the Isaac Stern Competition. Unfortunately, comments were disallowed on the competition website. You convey the ever shifting expressive riches of the Brahms Sonata with a poignancy that fully captures the listener's consciousness. The cohesiveness and inevitability of your phrasing is extraordinary, carrying the listener from the beginning to the end of each movement. To me, you are among the exceptional violinists whose playing could be mistaken for no one else's. It is intimately vocal. And yet it seems always to dance as well as to sing, just as you, yourself, reflect the flow of the music through movement, gesture, and facial expression. Like the other performances of yours that I have heard, this is a superb example of musical intentionality. The pianist in this performance, whose name I could not find, was with you in every sense, reflecting and enhancing your communication. Anyone who thinks I have broken a tradition by offering an opinion about a performance that is not on the video above it, please forgive me! I was overwhelmed by the beauty of Angela's performance and didn't know where else I might be able to express these thoughts.

Thank you so much for the kind comments, Donald. I strive to be more intentional with my music making every day. It’s hard to do that sometimes because it requires me to be completely honest with who I am and how I am each day and there are so much to work on. Your comments have inspired and reminded me what music should be and what I need to continue work towards!

@@angelachanviolin. I'm so glad my thoughts about your playing inspired you, because your playing truly inspires me. I was touched by your openness to my comments. Now, with a little insight into who you are as a human being, I am not, at the age of 91, embarrassed to admit that I felt tears welling up. This will be my last communication with you, Angela, because I don't want to distract you from your dedicated journey. However, I assure you I will continue to seek out your performances on KZbin, and if you ever play in Cleveland, I hope to be in the audience. When people believe in you and recognize your gifts, they will live within you, even in their absence. You're on your way. Please be patient with yourself! May your path be joyful as you bring joy to others. Thank you again for sharing what is most important to you.

This artist carries the listener into the unique world of each work she performs. Her mastery seems effortless. Her powers of expression transcend display.

This is music making beyond sonorous beauty and perfection of detail. Every phrase radiates Schubert's humanity. This young artist plays from the heart and reaches hearts. There is never a second's lapse in the spell she casts.
