@@zanapaulson5921 if it's the false positive virus detection, just reverify your files. It didn't break your game, your anti-virus just thought AurieLoader was a virus and removed some files.

I found that I had 2 different FOM folders and was putting the exception on the wrong one. Facepalms 🤦♀️

@@zanapaulson5921 that's a relief. Usually if it's missing files on the game end, it just needs to verify files on Steam. But if it's on the mod end, yeah you need to put stuff in the correct folder. 😊 Have fun!

I wish I would’ve known this about the journey spirit or Sprite because I just got it to level 10 possibly two days ago and it has yet to give me the cow helmet to the point where I’m getting frustrated with the game and about to stop playing and play something else like Pokémon or one of the Lego games that I downloaded why did they make it so hard?

Is it the last one you need? If so, and if you don't care much for anything else at this point, you can just (1) attempt to save scum it, or (2) just keep sleeping and talking with the sprite until you get what you need.

Some things to know about this mod: If the Anti-virus flags the Time of Mistria mod, it's because of the AurieLoader. To mitigate your anti-virus deleting the necessary files to make this mod work, add it as an exception to your antivirus (if the AV deletes the file, restore it thru your AV). In the event that the game gets updated and your mod stops working, all you need to do is to verify the integrity of the files again. DO NOT DELETE YOUR MODS. Just verify files then run MOMI as normal and install the mods again, it will work once more. Though I didn't mention it in the video itself, MOMI works on even Linux and Apple OS (which means it also works on the Steam Deck). The reason why I didn't include how to install the Linux version here is because Time of Mistria doesn't work on Steam Deck. All other mods that use MOMI should work, though. If you guys want me to make a video on how to do that on Steam Deck, just let me know. :)

Which part of it are you having trouble with? You only need two controllers for the couch co-op. You need to start it by having unlocked the right room (the one with the icon that looks like people) though.

You can play co-op online if you go to the room I mentioned. It has 2 options, iirc, online and offline (couch co-op).

The reason why I’m upset is why adding diversity Berk is a isolated island and they never meet people outside of archipelago expect in tv series that connect to httyd 1 is Trader Johann who trades with Vikings of Berk, untill Race To The Edge and Httyd 2 there’s a person of colour and it’s drago he works because stoick describe him a stranger from a strange land which it makes sense and there was another person of colour and it was Drago henchman Krogan, there was a comic called dragonvine and hiccup and gang met a tribe of indigenous people, But it said Hollywood is hungry for money so they want to make httyd diverse which its load of excuses to make money.

animals eat fodder by around 9am. so if for example, its raining, then you feed them fodder, say 10 fodders for 3 chickens, then you overslept. you woke up around 9am. when you visit your coop again, instead of finding 7 fodders remaining, youre gonna find 4 fodders. theyve eaten already. so if you want to conserve fodders, be sure to get them out before 9am

Disney live action remakes has gone worse nowadays. how could they do such a thing if DreamWorks copied Disney? I'm very frustrated. We will never get to see the new HTTYD movie ever again.

DreamWorks Animation is this close to falling into the same path as Disney when they unnecessarily remake their popular animated franchises into live action adaptations that would end up flopping the box office. Say that the live action HTTYD flops & Shrek 5 was released in late-2026 which became a success, Universal Studios would inevitably remake the Shrek films into live action adaptations that would include the same CGI from the animated films & fans said that will look absolutely horrific in live action.

Just give her the proper blonde hair (no dreadlocks). And get the casting for ruffnut and tuffnut correct. Its not that hard. She can easily pass off as astrid if they just remain faithful towards her hairstyle and color.

Which is really a small amount of effort needed to keep the blond hair in. I suppose we will know going forward (when the actual press tour starts) why they didn't go down that route or if they thought about it.

@IAmVianca it's a mess as usual. Even though they understand that most of these issues would all disappear with just a good blonde wig. And wigs can easily be made to be similar to movie hairstyle. They choose not to do it. Then their are the twins who look nothing like the twins and are given red hair. Most people aren't even aware of this casting because it's not as publicized as astrid's casting. Most people got to know about this bad casting from a shot from the set.

In fairness with the wig, it is kind of hard to make an edit/CGI around a wig because some blond wigs end up making a shot worse. It's something I learned (the hard way, lol).

@@VianPlays fair enough. But don't the movie studios have better set which can make up for this issue? Like Emilia Clarke did for GoT as she wore the platinum blonde wig during the run of GoT. Then again, if it creates an issue, there's alway dyeing as an option. But there's still the issue of her hairstyle itself as she has been given dreads for some reason, instead of just having one braided partition.

Oh, the dreadlocks are easy enough to explain why. In viking culture, at least, the ones I researched and read about, vikings often wore their hair in dreadlocks for practical purposes (keep their hair out of their face during battle). There are modern historians who even suggest that the dreads were inspired from the viking culture. It can also be attributed to "battle dreads", though this one is a little less historically accurate as it it something pop culture on vikings only made popular since there are no historical evidences that they wore their hair for this purpose (but the media liked to portray it as such).

As someone with viking descent you are absolutely right with how much they traveled and how their culture worked it isn’t out of the question that someone of another tace would be a viking because they didn’t care what your race, sexuality, or gender was. If you had the heart of a viking you were a viking. I personally have a problem(though very minor I simply think it’s tacky is all) is the race swapping.😕

Race-swapping is always an issue, especially now with Hollywood seeming to look into an easy way to represent POCs. I don't like it either since, as I have mentioned in the video, I would rather see representation and inclusivity of a race with a new movie or show as it would allow more people to appreciate other people's race and culture than getting everyone all heated up about "taking a character from another race". In HTTYD though, it doesn't really (from the way I saw it) take much from Astrid's character as her appearance had no really plot-heavy relevancy (Astrid was never in the books to have any descriptions of her (she was specifically created for the movie since it took, if I remember correctly, 3 books before the author realized there weren't any females in the book so another character was made (not Astrid)) to the movie. It would be a different thing entirely if they changed how Astrid was (like how it was done in the Percy Jackson movies, completely changed the appearance of Grover as well as his defining characteristics) or, like, that abominable Snow White live action adaptation from Disney. (This is, of course, coming from someone has yet to see a decent representation on Hollywood for my own people. Usually we are relegated in roles of either comedic value, or as nurses, when there are more to our culture than that (mixed as our culture is.)

Besides, isn't it to early to say it's a disservice just from not being blond and white (when her looks had no bearing to the plot). It is much more a disservice if her entire character is different, not just her looks. Case in point, Aang from the movie, Annabeth from the PJatO movie series.

Whether it's a fictional character (Kid Flash, Flash, Jimmy Olsen, Tolkien's Elves, Aragorn) or historical characters (Roman soldiers, Genghis Khan, Cleopatra) but especially when you are taking away defining characteristics (Snow White's white skin, Ariel's red hair, Astrid's blonde hair and blue eyes). Also, she's supposed to be Nordic. They could have done better.

Again, she's Scandanavian. And although nordic and scandanavian are often used interchangeably, the fact is one of the reasons they picked a blond in the animated film is because it NEEDS to be more colorful for a film. The fact of the matter is, the Viking culture is more than just white and blonde. They, as a culture because of how they lived, are mixed. If people want to be true to the source, then the entire franchise should not be a thing since the source (the book) did not have that same story or those characters (especially Astrid). It's more like a complaint that the character made for the movie did not look like the character people are used to. While the movie is trying to address the fact that Vikings are not a race nor are they just white or came from one specific region. Also, it's not race swapping for this instance because again, she is Scandanavian and vikings are not a race. They are a culture. But, yes, Hollywood (as I have mentioned in the video) needs to create newer stories for cultures and races not slap on a different skin color on a character and call it a day if they want inclusivity and representation.

@@celticknights none of the cast are nordic. Julian Dennison is of Māori descent, tuffnut is played by a 30 year old man. Why does Stoic have a Scottish accent? Why aren't you complaining about any of these things??? The world as we know it today is a melting pot. People are moving over seas and their ethnic DNA is going to blend in with the populace they moved to overtime. In the future, it is going to become increasingly more difficult to get 'ethnically accurate' actors for roles that also portray the character accurately. And isn't it more racist to hire an actor based on their skin color if there is no importance to the role's characterization, or plot relevance?

I am not happy with many of the choices when it came to casting but for the most part it looked like they at least somewhat tried to get a cast that resembled the animated characters. Most could have been better, some should have been better; Astrid among them. The world is becoming a melting pot no doubt, but I can nearly guarantee that there is no short of blonde hair blue eyed women who would have fit the role better. I don't need them to be Nordic, but they should at least look like they COULD be Nordic.

My biggest gripe with this remake is fundamentally the concept itself of it being a remake. Why do we NEED a remake? Do we really need it or does the studio need money to squeeze out of the HTTYD fans? And I think this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually don't like how it almost looked like a basic translation from animated to live action ( i might be wrong with this bcs i havent watched the movie). Toothless look exactly the same with more HD textures. My question is, what are the creators trying to add creatively to the original? What do they want to change? What addition to the plot? What would make this movie at least DIFFERENT from the original? So far what the trailer tells me is that its basically the same exact movie with the same dragon designs with the main difference being its now in live action and a few changes in casting choices. Which is imo a creatively bankrupt decision from hollywood and it makes me see this as a cashgrab attempt. And why should we try to cater to the "durr i like live action coz its for adults, unlike those childish animated movies" audience? Animation is an amazing art form that was purposely used for the original movie to convey its message. If these people can't put aside their pride and at least try to watxh the animated one first, why bother? I recommend you watch "Our Culture iis Eating Itself" by Solar Sands. This movie is the epitome of what Solar Sands was talking about.

1. Dean DeBlois already said that it wasn't going to be a 1:1 of the animated movie, only that the key moment would be (which I tackled in the video). They also made Toothless look like the original because they should (case in point the first Sonic render,Sebastian and Flounder, the Beast, and everything in the Lion King and Mufasa). 2. Again, point 1. They showed a brief glimpse of the key moments. The movie is longer than what a teaser, the glimpse of it is. 3. I already gave an answer to this in the video itself. It's not a contest between whether animation is a fantastic medium, it is just that we each have varied tastes. It's not even about pride. Some people just prefer non-animation and consider them childish and would rather not watch them. Live actions give them a chance to see what a movie is about and, maybe, a chance to change their mind. 🤷♂️ It's the same with super hero movies, they give those who don't read comic books an avenue to appreciate the stories and the characters from them. 😊

Hi. Unfortunately, I don't have a guide for the animals in the game. Though I probably should have made one 😅. To answer you question: Beyond hatching an egg from the highest heart Chicken (which determines the max heart the offspring will have) there are no ways to increase it. You'd have to get the egg from that prized chicken of yours and incubate it (rinse and repeat) to increase the max heart (though it would be the offspring's max heart).

@Curiel.master You're welcome. You can just hatching the egg from your highest affection chicken (if you have many, only feed the one with the highest heart so you can only get 1 egg. That chicken will have a max heart of one higher than its parent and just rinse and repeat until you have one with 10 hearts).

Yeah. I agree. Dana set the bar up for me, having played all of the Ys games. I legit felt sad that the game ended for me (to the point that from the Vita, I went to buy it on the Switch and Steam. I got the review keys for PS4 and PS5 but I also ended up buying a physical copy of this game because it was soooo good.

For the flame painting you can also use telekinesis in a fire creature and move it on top of the painting. (also, I saw a single green magic circle in a classroom without being from the 3 boxes puzzle, but I can't figure out if its a puzzle or not...)
