Hi! I used my good old brush team for this painting. Pabeo is my favorite brush brand, and I use No. 0, 3, 6 mainly. Especially No.0 is for sharp lines. Hope you have a wonderful day. ❤️

The reason why you began your piece is when you plan it on your iPad first; Is this helpful for you when you don’t know which colours to use for your piece?

That’s right! I had hard time often struggling choose colors while painting with gouache. So I started digital painting for my color planing as my work process. For me it helps a lot to work on gouache painting for me. I don’t need to spend too much time to think about what colors I need to paint on paper. And I feel like I work much faster with digital painting, or maybe it is only my feelings. But definitely it helps for me to work much smoother without any art block or pause while painting. I forgot to mention earlier that I was uncertain about the background colors. I used digital tools to experiment with different hues in Procreate, taking a picture of my gouache paint and digitally adjusting the colors. I carried out this process in my favorite local cafe before returning to gouache to complete the painting. I hope you enjoy this video and my artwork. 5yrs is far too much to project ahead. this is a dangerous method as it’s so far into the future that your always making excuses in the present for not progressing enough in order to reach that timed goal. living in the present keeps you accountable

I disagree i feel if you view it differently the five years gives you grace on your current output if you draw something you dislike know you know that you have the opportunity to make something better in those five years
