Your Pocket 4k videos look better, I know you don’t want to hear this but the Sony isn’t an upgrade. The Pocket 6k or Cinema 6k are upgrades.

i own the pocket 4k, 6k, FX4 and A7IV and i have to tell you that i think the same. BUT the sony is built for a completely different shooting style. You cant really compare those cameras, because with a lot of my documentary work i need fast AF, super strong low light capabilities, and so on. Its just built for different stuff. But up until this day i still love my good old pocket 4k, which i still use for certain projects.

Nice comparison. 45 and 65 are rock solid with character lenses. 100mm too much soft and possible need to shim correctly 😢

what time stamp? Most of it is available light except for the studio shots. The triangle shot was done with 3 Astera Tubes.

Amazing video, really enjoy it. 😍😍The image for me is sharp and clear in comparison from other videos that i saw on youtube. There is a lot of people saying that this lenses are usable at T2.8 - 4 but looking your test, at T2 for me is sharp and clear. Did you add some sharpness in post? Did you shim the lenses?

I also think that in controlled lighting setups you can easily use T2. I did not shim or sharpen anything yet but i am going to check if the lenses need shimming in the future.

General consensus seems to be that the 65 is the sweetspot. Do you find the focal length to be versatile enough to be a first purchase of the set?

The 65 is super cool. I just shot a musicvideo with the set yesterday and found myself to shoot a lot with the 65mm. I would say that this ist a gut first lens for shure.

Hey ! Did you use an other filter than de promist 1/2. I have the same setup (P4K/18-35 and SB MB 0,71) but I can't even shoot at the end of day without everything being overexposed ! Just bought some ND Filters but still asking questions ! Very good cinematography btw ! Cheers !
