thank you for the note at the beginning, but still if you don’t support mills then don’t buy from them because pet smart and pet co are mills and don’t take care of their animals so anything you buy from there you can get online or through amazon and also you should do more research on hamster food there is a couple good youtubers who have vids on that but otherwise it was cute watching the animals from there🥰

Hi! I do understand what you are saying, but unfortunately Petsmart is the only pet food place around me with higgins sunburst - and I am not experienced or prepared to make homemade seed mix yet, and buying online would take to long to come. But next time I will definitely buy online and look into other options. I truly do understand what you are saying, thank you <3

Hi! As long as you’re not buying live animals, purchasing suitable items from pet stores is completely okay. They will replace what is bought, so if lots of people are buying safe items, they’ll restock safe items! Purchasing the actual live animals is the only thing that will feed into pet mills. 😊

mac’s animals you are giving chain pet stores money by buying items from their stores then they use that money for unethical breeding and bad care so buying good items from there is still giving them money and you can buy those items online or from small businesses and if there is a good item they are producing just try to do research and find a even better item from somewhere else and they do not have very many safe items there (that i know of at least) besides the oxbow brand

They spend the money from the sales of live animals to purchase more, just like how they spend the money from the sales of safe items to buy more safe items. They replace what you buy, so if you’re only buying safe items you are not contributing to the sale of live animals.
