We would have loved a big family, 4 or 5 children, but both hubby and I have fertility problems. We needed alot of help to have just the 2 we have. We had 8 rounds of fertility treatment just for 1 child. We may have a much smaller family than we wanted (now including 5 grandchildren) and we are forever grateful for them. I do love watching larger families on YT.

That sounds like a lot to go through. Praise God for your two and five grandchildren. xo

Such a wholesome video 😇...I know it was 3 years ago, but as you know I'm a new viewer 😊...very familiar room and delivery room and views outside the window, I had 4 of my 5 babies at the Naracoorte hospital when I was living in Bordertown 😊...I had Dr Taylor and Dr Cohen present at all my deliveries, I had 2 doctors because my 2nd and 3rd were big babies (9lb and 10lb 3oz), and my 4th and 5th were twins (6lb 6oz and 6lb 12oz) born via planned c section...My 1st was 9lb 5oz, but I had him in Mount Gambier 😊...I found the Naracoorte hospital staff, doctors and nurses absolutely amazing ❤

Motherhood sure isn't easy, but it's so rewarding and no amount of money could possibly be enough for payment. It's the smile on our children's faces, seeing them happy and succeed at what they choose to do in life is all the payment I need ❤️

Flipout is such a wonderful asset for the Limestone Coast community. But like you said it's pretty expensive, it's good to have in the rotation of things to do in our beautiful region ❤

I always wanted to be a Mum and have 2 boys and marry a farmer 😁🥰...well i married a farmer, had a boy, a girl then another boy ❤...but unfortunately our relationship didn't work out 😢...I then re partnered and we decided to have a baby together, and I was blessed to get pregnant with boy/girl twins ❤...eventhough I only ever wanted 2 boys, and have had to failed relationships, I am forever blessed with my 5 beautiful babies...They are my world, my everything! And yes, I know what you mean about sicknesses and how long it takes to go through the house 😢

I have just subscribed to your channel as I saw your comment on 'Yes they are all ours' channel. I love watching all large Australian family vlogs 😊...I considered my family of 5 children a large family until i found the likes of yours and 'Yes they are all ours', 'One of a dozen' and 'The Bonell Family' lol...I saw on this video that you must live in SA like me because you have Foodland 😊...I'm in Mount Gambier, you guys don't happen to be in Naracoorte by any chance? Because I had a quick glance at one of your video titles about flooding 😢

Hi precious Peta, I just love how you've made your kitchen in to a fascinating classroom, I can't think of a better place where your children can develop creativity and problem solving skills, a place where they can learn to serve others and work as part of a team, a place where meaningful conversations that can touch the heart can spontaneously arise, a place where deeply held values can be quietly instilled, now that's using your resources and time wisely, especially living in this tech savvy world, you are in fact following Gods commandments in Deuteronomy 6:6,7 Keep up the great work humble family

The macadamias looked delicious! Do you homeschool up until a certain age or do the children decide if they want to go to school? No judgement I’d just love to know. I know at one stage you said they were going to a Christian school. If I had more than one child I’d love to homeschool but I’d feel guilty keeping my only child at home because she loves playing with other kids. Love your vlogs, I’ve been following for a long time x

Hi, Most of our children, except the youngest 3 have spent some time at school and also been homeschooled. We've moved alot, and we've just reassessed each year or even each term, whether school or homeschool is the best option. This year we're back to homeschooling everyone!

I also feel really stressed before Christmas. I think it comes from the pressure of wanting everyone to really enjoy themselves and its all up to me to get the food and gifts everyone likes. With a large family there's so many more people to think about!

I totally agree that motherhood is the most important job on the planet. However I do worry for us mamas if something happens to our sole income earners and to the mamas that give their life raising our next generations then to have no superannuation. I encourage woman to train in something that they may need to use in the future to earn an income to support their families if they are left alone. Love your channel and so glad to have you back ❤

Hello Peta, My curriculums are directed toward Christian high schoolers, but education in general, is more efficient with religious programs. Jesus knew the importance of combining illustrations that included business, math, biology, botany, and moral values. Ultimately, parents want to send economically competitive humans into the marketplace, rooted in moral principles.

Great to see a bigger family's setup, thanks for sharing. We've got five kids from 11 down to 7 months and working towards downgrading/upgrading from our poptop camper to a tent and tarp setup. Where did you find that massive canvas tent? Have only see nylon/polyester tents with three rooms and that much floor space. How does your 7 yr old find getting in and out of the camp bunk?
@GoddardFamily2 жыл бұрын
Hi! We found it second hand on Market Place. It is very nice and spacious. I'm guessing you've tried Snowy's outdoors? They have heaps to different tents to choose from. The camp bunk is great, it's big enough for an adult to sleep on and our 7 year old climbs up there fine. It's a pain to build the thing though, but a great space saver in the tent 😄.
@ab4rb8702 жыл бұрын
@@GoddardFamily thanks for the response. I've seen some great looking tents on marketplace, will keep looking and hopefully a good option will come up soon. Snowy's is great, love their podcast! 👍

We are a family of 9 as well with 7 children. About to start travelling Australia in Tents. I'm curious if you are still planning on doing more travels in tents with your family ?
@GoddardFamily2 жыл бұрын
Hi! We did another smaller trip earlier this year and really enjoyed ourselves. But we're saving for a small pop out caravan and are thinking of using that with a instant up tent for our eldest 2 sons. Our tent takes soo long to pack up/ set up and it does get exhausting because we have some little ones, so I wouldn't do any longer term travel in it. I think 2 instant up tents would be better than our big one that takes ages to set up. Happy travels :)
@MathewsonFamily2 жыл бұрын
@@GoddardFamily awesome. Yes we did a big tent when we had lots of little people and it was exhausting on set up and moving days. This time we have smaller tents and more bigger children to help
