Sadly i completed this activity with an aggressive 10 year old, his response was "dont care, its funny". I guess some kids just couldn't care less about their actions 😢. Its a great idea, and does work with a lot of kids.

NJEA claims they're there for kids "alongside parents" against bullying but are helping the Murphy misadministration help the teachers hide gender "transition" BS from parents. Teachers DO NOT OWN THEIR STUDENTS. Teachers are there to teach the curriculum parents want their kids to learn. At no time are you a substitute for the parent

As someone bullied in school I got really depressed after seeing this video. I will forever be as ugly as a crumpled-up sheet of paper. Nothing more. For the rest of my life. There is no hope that anything will ever get better. :,(

Great activity. I remember being bullied as a child and how terrorized I used to feel. I did not realize what an effect it had on me till I started teaching this subject. I agree with you that the emotional wound never goes away. It something that affects someone deeply.

Children all around the world need to be taught from a young about bullying. The need to know what it is and how it makes others feel as well as how to get help. But most importantly they need to be shown how important it is to feel good about themselves. My Daughter12 year old and I have come up with a fun relatable way to see just how to deal with bullying. @t

Hi! I was just wondering. This sounds really helpful for the bullies, but for the kids that are being bullied, could it be more painful to hear that "the scars will never go away"? I wonder if it could make them feel like they can never recover from it or something like that.. did you notice anything around that with the kids that were being bullied?
@elisabethshabouk59033 жыл бұрын
The reality is they never really do go away. We can heal with time, of course. However I’ve not found this to be an issue.
@glorynnaji56903 жыл бұрын
Well I guess you can modify that part by telling them not to bully at all & remind them how a bullied child feels using the rough paper
@literacydiva1327 Жыл бұрын
This is a great activity. I would modify it slightly by saying that bullying can leave scars on the inside and outside. I wouldn't say that it doesn't go away because young children need to be hopeful about the future. I wouldn't want them to feel like damaged goods ever, but certainly not at a young age.

I'm a primary teacher in Australia. I love the teacher planner but I would much prefer the vertical format as well but in A4 size (It's longer and gives you more space to write). I would also love to have the weekends in a smaller box to the right as I also use it partly as my personal planner. I loved your idea to have your timetable and bell times in the front (much more beneficial than the volunteers list). Love the paper quality and organisation. Not a fan of the candle quote in the back as it seems as though it refers to a teacher burning out. Postage is super expensive for us as well. I'm excited to test out my planner this year.
@elisabethjwithans83356 жыл бұрын
Yes, I also would prefer A4 as that is the paper size we use in Kenya.
