Hi Brian, I have lived on the resort for the last two years and the roads do take getting used too. When we have rains the roads do tend have water that settle however the great news about Spain is the sun is never far away and they dry very quickly. The main road to Hacienda Riquelme is the RM1 this motorway links Murcia city to the coastline of the Mar Menor and is a pleasure to drive, The alternative roads tend to be through the countryside and these roads are the ones that will have slight issues when it rains.
