You disconnected the ccv tube from the valve cover.....

It is the crankcase venting hole, nothing wrong

If the pcv valve is bad does the engine make a rattle. I think my pcv valve is bad bc i have the smoke coming from the engine. After its ran for a while.

E46 doesn't have a pcv it has an oil separator system.

Dude, the studs aren't even long enough to go through the rim. The offset all f*cked up. Ghetto-rigging lug nuts is asking for your wheels to fall off on the street. Get some quality spacers and new lug nuts for those rims to fit right.

Don’t worry I just did this to mount the wheel temporarily while I’m rebuilding the engine, I will be doing a proper stud and lug conversion

You need a stiff alloy wheel brush and a detailing brush or two. They are much more effective for agitating the dirt/contamination, you may use microfibre on newer alloys to reduce possibility of minor scratching but otherwise brushes are the way to go
