These aren't cherry trees; they represent branches cut from flowering cherry trees. So using a single branch in your city doesn't resemble a cherry tree. You would need it to be shorter and much thicker. Sorry if this is confusing; look at pictures or real cherry trees to see what I mean.

Funny how I posted on your last video about me waiting for 5 packages of bricks and it did contain LEGO Light Green Baseplate 32 x 32 Raised with Ramp, Pit, Stone Stairs and Pool (6092) which is from Set LEGO Poolside Paradise Set 6416. End of the year we can compare houses ;-)

One of your better cars for sure. I love the sleek lines, the structural integrity it seems to have on first impression and the compact footprint. I love me some speed champions, but this fits so much better with existing road sizes being only a 6 studs wide vehicle. I'm not actively building anything modern atm, but when I will in the future, I'll certainly remember this design as a nice car to add to that display and I'll pick up the instructions right now to support you.
@wooootles15 күн бұрын
Yeah, I bring these little cars when I travel if you saw my ‘23 year end video and/or Instagram account so structural rigidity is more of a priority to me than other builders. And yes, these are for town/city scale. I can’t have cars and trucks with bigger footprints than some buildings lol. Thanks for the support!

Merry Brickmas and Happy new MOC wooootles 😀 Looking forward to your seeing your new builds. So after following your channel for a year or so and always seeing your impressive sky scrapers I am now starting one as well. Yesterday I was at the pick-a-brick wall at LEGO in Utrecht, Netherlands and got a large box with mostly 2x5 clear and 1x6 sand green. Also 4 brick owl orders have arrived in the past 2 weeks and 1 box from Belgium is still in the mail right now. Sooo many new pieces here. After 3 years of building I am nearly done with my Aircraft carrier (it is HUGE) and my 8,000 piece Batman MOC is also near completion. I will eventually upload to YT as well, I plan to start my own LEGO channel here as well, as I have only had a Facebook LEGO page for 5 years now 🙂 Lets see what your next video brings, I need ideas for a floorpan for high rises ;-)

I've been to St Louis, Boston, Rome, Edinburgh and Glasgow the last 3-4 months and it seems like they all have similar stock with your Amsterdam store. I'll probably regret not getting enough 1x2x5 clears, though... But Facebook?? Get on Instagram!
@pinobluevogel645814 күн бұрын
A sizable aircraft carrier sounds cool. Is it a modern one or a WWII version? Also Wootles, he said Utrecht, not Amsterdam. :) Both have an official Lego Store, but there seems to be a rotation of parts going on for about 2 years now. I have litterally every part in that rotation in more than enough supply and hope they will introduce new parts soon enough.

@@pinobluevogel6458 I am going for a 1980s Nimitz class carrier as I am trying to build the USS Flag from GI Joe, the largest action figure toys ever produced and released around 1985. I won't manage the 210 cm flight deck as I have no place to put that but I am planning 137 cm, so 2 cm more than the 135 cm Lego Titanic. Currently I am only at 64 cm keel and 84 cm flight deck. But going from a footprint of 3 x the 16x32 baseplate to four when the hull is already 20+ bricks high ... takes a lot more bricks ;-)

@@wooootles I am waiting for warmer weather for a LEGO-store-marathon in neighbouring Germany, where I am from originally: so all of the Netherlands has 4 LEGO stores in Amsterdam, Utrecht and 2x Den Haag, but in the German State of Northrhine Westphalia there is 5 Lego Stores alone along the Rhine in Oberhausen, Essen, Düsseldorf, Cologne and Bonn. I have done 4 stores in a day before, will go for 5 stores in 5 cities in a day this year 😀

This is very cool to see. It is clearly not as advanced as your more recent builds, but still holds up very well after all these years. I especially like some of the tecnhiques used in the outside architecture. For me, the lack of plants and trees on the in- and outside is a bit too much, despite having them on the street modules. There could have been a few smaller plants at least somewhere, but that is just me. Furthermore, however realistic or well made the escalators are, I don't like that they take up such a massive part of the inside of the building, preventing the view inside from going all the way down. Personally I would choose to use only one of them instead of two, so you get a more spacious interior and maybe some more sense of height. Finally, I love your examples of more modern bookcase builds. That would also be a very nice update to the build if you felt like trying that, but I can imagine after all these years that your enthusiasm for this has waned a little, considering you put so much time and effort in it already. Great MOC and it is fun to see a bit smaller build, something that is certainly within the realm of trying. It is a break from the amazingly high skyscrapers, which frankly enough are just too expensive and timeconsuming to try for myself.
