Holden Clark Wow, you are so lucky! Not all clubs get to row on water daily. Our local youth club will row only 2X a week. The rest of the week will just be indoor rowing in the gym.

Respecting your rowing, I have one sincere question. Why do you accelerate on the slide towards the catch? It seems that the stroke does this the most, just speeding up more and more in the recovery. This instead of moving quickly with the hands, which doesn't cost you any boat speed. Also, you can see the catch of the bow is not sharp, he is able to throw his back in directly, meaning he doesn't have pressure. Is this all part of an exercise or some special technique?
