I saw Kenny Greenberg and Michael Rhodes play with Ashley on a couple of occasions... I may have been at this performance. I don't remember ever being more inspired spiritually or musically.

I saw The Scratch Band at Cornerstone just before they had to change their name. Quite an amazing show, with a lot of unexpected stage theatrics. Somewhere I have the bootleg cassette of that night. Horrible recording but it's a nice reminder of "back in the day".

What a blessing from the kingdom of Heaven while so many were striving for fame riches and glory. Selling their soul because they couldn’t be bought by the blood.

Every once in a while i go online to see if maybe she has new music out there. She is so unique and great! Her brother in law is Jon Foreman of Switchfoot (also unique and great.

I first heard PFR in 1992 at the Creation Festival. I picked up their first Album. They just announced that they are changing their name from Pray for Rain to PFR. Love their music and one of my all time favorite bands. They have a lot of crossover appeal (Christian/Secular). Maybe one day they will do a show in the Philadelphia area.

Such good times, wish I had made it to cornerstone. Got to go to many of the Creation festivals in PA, though. I think ‘96 - ‘04 or so. There was a special blend of artistry / songwriting / storytelling in much of the Christian music back then.

The first time I saw David Crowder was at Cornerstone. But, he was a warmup act, and by himself. No band. I said at that time that this guy is going places. And here he is.....

Cool! I just found this video and wow, the flood of memories; - from a year or two prior to Brent's Spiritual awakening unto Yeshua Jesus. 1, 2, 3, 4, count the children - don't make me listen... the last time I heard Brent behind a mic when I was in the audience was his final performance with Charlie when they were together in a band. The last thing he said was, "We *_were_* the Charlie Peacock band." - circa ~1985, though I don't recall exactly the year, it was right around then, +/- I only talked to Brent a couple of times here and there before he left the Sacramento area. - Somewhere (lost in a box of ancient cassettes) I still have the recording I made that evening when I tapped directly off the mixing board. ...time 🤔

I was in Las Vegas with a ministry team when I heard the song 'Heaven' for the first time. It was so powerful that I can remember where I was and what I was doing. That song has not only gotten me through the day-to-day, but it has also carried me through so many of my darkest hours of loss. I remember Bob saying in an interview that he would give up his music in a heartbeat and pump gas for a living if his family in any way was suffering neglect from him traveling around to sing. How precious! How I praise God for Bob Carlisle and his awesome gift!
