I think the scales are ivory you only see schreger or cross hatching at the end grain not along its surface,

Hey Nash, reading the instructions first would have been helpful, you don't have to use your finger to press the buttons, a stylus would do, or even a pen with the cap on, something like that! O.M.G. LOLZ

Pretty much at 'pest' level across Norfolk these days. Invasive non-natives species like this just don't have predators to keep their numbers in balance - apart from cars!

They are grozing pliers, used for breaking small pieces of glass. The flat side is used to break glass at the score line, and the curved side is used for cleaning the edges by scraping the small flares/burrs.

Maybe soak the handles in boiling water to remove them and buff them on a fiber wheel after soaking in the ultrasonic and then seeing if they can be sharpened with a thin file?
@NashRathbone13 күн бұрын
They still cut wire very well. The company uses a nylon Thermoplastic process of injection moulding for the handles on their tools. Thanks for watching 👍

Sir, They are grozing pliers, used to break small pieces of glass. The flat side is held against the scored line, and while applying even pressure you pull straight back without twisting or bending. They explain how to use them in the livingsunglass website.

Thanks for making this video, it conjured up memories of playing with my Gat as a kid in the 90s. In all honesty I didn't really gel with that pistol as I found it considerably less accurate than my black widow slingshot which I had at the time haha. I quickly progressed to a Webley Hurricane which was an excellent pistol but I kept the Gat as I wasn't too precious about what I fired out of it, the pistol met its end when I shot it and the entire barrel went down the garden (later plastic model). I still enjoy shooting when I can fit it around work and kids.

A few weeks ago I went on a deep dive into the history of J. Rabone and Sons. That was spurred by me misplacing my spirit level and I dug out my great grandfather's tools and used his joiner's spirit level which was made by J. Rabone and Sons. I was impressed that it was still in perfect working order after a century. They were a great manufacturer.

I have this, it’s very good and your review was excellent… I enjoyed the proper aspect you did of doing the test with the practical explanation of the physical cables removed and reversed, so the consumer will actually see how it is for real as opposed to just telling us
