How the hell have I never have seen this before now? Don't judge me, I have been a fan of this band for over 30 years and feel like I neglected a huge part of my music catalog.

That dance Ian does from 1:04 is cool as fuck against the music. If orchestrated song could be in a film it’s so good.

There might never be a Fugazi ever again so just be glad there was a Fugazi.
@cwilh60442 жыл бұрын
There's a 1/2 Fugazi in ian mackaye and joe lally's Coriky. Pretty decent, if more chill than this-tho they are getting older, as well. Kinda sounds like Ian&Amy's the Evens mixed w Joe Lally's messthetics. Just need Brendan and guy and we'd be set, tho. They all still talk and most live near DC. Makes no sense not to get back together for at least some charity/benefits shows which was their main D.C. gigs anyway. Sry for rambling... TLDR: Check out Coriky for partial fugazi reunion

Surprised at how good the sound is on this video. Good going to whoever filmed it! Wish I'd gone to see them when I had the chance, especially the Gilman in Berkeley.

I have seen Fugazi live three times in three different cities, but this performance of "Epic Problem" looks particularly tight. Fugazi are consummate professionals. Fucking Amazing band.

I was about four feet from the stage, directly in front of Guy. Stood there from when Quix*O*Tic opened through the last note of the show. Still the best live performance I've ever seen, videos from the show bring it all back in vivid detail. Fugazi is, was, and forever will be fucking amazing.

@oooowwwwdddd I would guess it is about 30 years old. Those square lights are VU meters, which are used for monitoring how loud the sound is on each track. If those people made music before the mid 80's, it is almost certain that their music was recorded on a reel to reel deck.
@oooowwwwdddd13 жыл бұрын
WOW!!! How old is that thing? What are all the square lights on the front of it for??? Did they record like Benny Goodman and Gloria Gaynor on one of those. My grandparents have those CD's lol...

2 inch machine these days are cheaper (2k up to 8k $) then modest DAW and computer + audio interfaces and top notch analog to digital converters. over 15 k $. but keep in mind that u need good console because you cant mix without it while working analog with 2 inch r2r.
