Nice that there's a video showcasing all the pins; made me realize I never actually used any of the Apport pins activated by drawing a circle, and I've practically gotten 100% in the DS version (all pins maxed, all items obtained, and a full noise report besides some things not being beaten at level 1). Makes me wanna revisit the game and try out some pins I rarely used, though then I'd have to delete my save and I really don't wanna grind for stats and wait hours to get mingle points again

It is better now since your attacks don't have as much end lag. This is a straight upgrade since it just gives the players benefits, so it would make the game easier. If you don't want to do combos while using the mod, you can just use the mod to help yourself get out of sticky situations where the attack leaves you in a ton of recovery frames (like 80% of the attacks, really). There's no real downside to using the mod (besides making it harder to go back to the original game's mechanics since the mod improves the game).

@theonewhowrotethis5681 all I’m hearing is that now its gonna play like the overrated POS known as kh2. That game was far too hard and i had to mash too much. Absolute pain and objectively bad game design. And less endlag? Why would i want less? I need my character to have proper frame data so i can actually see what they’re doing. Sounds like a bad game. Unlike DDD and COM

Combat isn't the best it could be due to the way commands and boss design works. It's serviceable, but not much else. This mods opens up way more fun ways to fight in the game since you can now use your commands within the attack combos you normally do, and bosses won't just ignore them like random.

Bosses in bbs have no stun Attacks in bbs are slow and commands can be canceled into eachother making most of them useless This mod fixes that, and more

Blows me away how they thought it was an OK idea to just flat out rip you out of the game if you let a random meter deplete. It's like why create a mechanic where the instant you start having enough fun to forget about your meters it takes you out of it? And as others have pointed out the item that replenishes it is so common that it may as well not exist as a mechanic outside that context.

The one thing that does bother me about this game is how like half the attack commands are just the previous attack, but with an element stapled to it. If they did this approach, I just wish that they did something a little extra, like how BBS Blizzard Edge has a big ice spike pop out of the ground for an extra hit.

Thoughts: -set 1: id make a case for lightning pawn (or whatever the name of the psych that summons a lightning ball by drawing a circle is) to be here, specifically the pins that track enemies and dont just stay in a specific area or follow neku. Personally i find tigris to be really annoying to use (along with all tap piercing pillar pins, to be honest) for not that much reward in terms of juggling, whereas taking the lightning pill makes the enemy bounce up on their own giving you plenty of time to do whatever you want. Flexibility in this type of set is very high, shockwave, vortex saber, lightning rook, chains, flame blast and many other pins all have some degree of synergy with this type of strategy so go wild, really, whatever you might want to make work probably will -set 2 is obviously situational since very few bosses include obstacles in their arena, namely Woolly AoR on W3D2, hosting a car, alongside cornix canor and grindcore minks, and the bat fights which both include an amplifier (you could count tigris if you want to but its not like you can actually hit her with anything that spawns in). The car is strong in twewy so thankfully it still works out well for you -~i find it funny how you skip over puck passing and SOS strategies for being well known and then pick over the top+rapid reboot juggles with black uranus, which is similarly infamous~ i think wolf (or really any pin with good, safe knockup/knockback) is better in this case because you only really use tigris when panthera lands and if you mess up and it teleports you might be kind of boned, since you're not using healing with this set. Healing pins instead of tigris might also be worth considering if you hate fun

Very happy to have you in my comments! If I remember correctly I didn't add lightning prawn despite it being a really cool pin because I hate drawing circles with the mouse. To be honest the other two sets were pretty much filler since I couldn't come up with anything better, although I did want to use the debuffs and telekinesis because I never use those going through the game. I added the over the top set since I hadn't heard about it outside of circles of people who are very into the combat system of the game (wish there were more of us) while I had been well acquainted with the puck and sos setups because of the wiki. Love your uploads!

Drill arm is for noobs Taurus arm with the aries shield is FOR THE SECOND BIGGESt NOOBS IN THE GAME BEHIND THE EYE ORBITALS.. Upperdash with the running hit can ko anyone with the correct mods with one single attack Electro shock arm with stun mods and the running normal shot is the perfect counter for those melee noobs
