You are SO beautiful! You have so much courage. You are so loved by generations of gay men, who had to struggle so hard to get where we are today. Reach out to others and make their coming out less painful. God bless.

I never came out and I am 62. I just lived my gay life. It was never discussed. I have been with my husband 32 years. I am more than being gay. Being gay does not define me. I am also an Engineer, Financial Planner, Republican, etc.

Being Gay is NOT a choice. Being Bisexual IS a choice, i.e., being attracted to both sexes is a CHOICE. You choose either boy or girl. But being Gay, you're only attracted to the same sex (not a choice). Straight people are only attracted to the opposite sex. If a Straight person argues that it's a choice, all you need to say is the following: "You, who are straight, chose to be with the opposite sex. That means you were attracted to BOTH sexes and CHOSE the opposite sex, right?" You'll then hear a pin drop on the carpet, and he or she will be at a loss for words. God does not make mistakes in his infinite wisdom, where a certain percentage of the population is Gay. Why is a certain percentage of the population left handed, while the majority is right handed? Same analogy. Countless Gay, as well as Straight, are loving, caring, sharing, and productive human beings. Period and end of story.

Thank you for sharing your personal story. I relate in that KZbin helped me quite a bit too as I was watching coming out videos. I'm a freshman in college and I recently came out in my high school yearbook: "I started high school with straight A's...now I'm not even straight! I'm still me, though!" Thanks for inspiring youth like me!

Knowledge is power. If family, religion, or culture makes coming out difficult for someone, the following blog post about homosexuality may provide valuable help: “Homophobia: To the Community” homoeroticpoems.blogspot.com/2014/04/to-community.html

Thank you Samuel - what can I say - I used Lockdown to come out - it meant I couldn't face anyone. It took me 38 years to come out, I know those tears - how did it take so long ? I suppose I grew up in a less inclusive era where being gay was not a real option. I never married though and I suspect a few of my gender have - I came out last Feb and never felt so relieved - I can be me now. I hope too to have a boyfriend - you realise it is the only thing that fits. Bless you and every happiness in the future in finding a true love.

In elementary school I knew then I liked boys WAY MORE than I liked girls. I used to crush on the cute guys in my classrooms. Guess I matured way younger and way faster than my peers. But it was a time that you kept it all to yourself, which is harmful to your self being. Things are a bit different today compared to then. Glad you came out and be yourself.

Samuel, just based off of your last name, is it safe to assume you’re Swedish? Anyways, I’ve never understood why straight guys have a problem with us...we pose ZERO threat to them, we’re not competition, and most straight guys aren’t very attractive anyway. Hehe. I’ve had straight guys act like I was gonna hit on them just ‘cause we’re in the same room...and I would just tell them, “look at you, and look at me,..why would I hit on you?!?” LOL. I’m not very good looking, by an6 means, but I’m 45 and take care of myself...which is more than I can say for most 45-y/o straight men. 😜 If straight men were smart, they’d want to hang out with us and have us be their wingmen ‘cause we have an easy time talking to women, and we would totally chat up women and set them up with our straight friends! All of that aside, I’m so happy for you that you’re happy...and you’re a stunningly beautiful man so I’m sure you’ll find a lot of guys to go out with. Thank you for sharing your story with us, and I wish the best for you. 🤙🏽🏳️🌈😁
