this is like machine boss need but thing is parts would be so small can do them. mills hit spindle LOL. its okay we do all these with 2 machines. 3 setup or... more LOL LOL and magic is we sell them cheaper LOL LOL LOL. boss is master. cheaper we get parts LOL LOL LOL LOL. could ask more so we could buy better machines that can do same thing on one setup, but thing is only me could operate it LOL

With a Y axis movement of 4”, does that mean its only possible to drill or tap radially two inches in either direction from centerline on the X axis? Is this also true 2” from centerline on the Z axis? I wish there was a Haas video that clearly showed Y movement in slo-mo, maybe even over laid with arrows.

A 4:35 watch what hapens after facing, if you do that on a tough material or with a low grip condition youll end up tearing the tool apart much faster or even destroying thr piece, always add a dwell time or proper g-code to let the machine slow down to proper Vc before going to next operation.

Great video! My dad and I have a small machine shop and we purchased a HAAS DS30Y lathe a little over a year ago. We are still having issues with how our CAM software outputs the code. My question for you is would you be willing to send this code to us? We have our Esprit CAM guy coming to our shop on the 25th and 26th of this month to sort out the issues. He told us that it would help out if we could provide him with a known g-code that worked with our machine, so that he could customize the post processor for our machine. Thank you in advance for any help you can send our way! -Colby
