I've just bought Corsa vxr 2010 like it but not as much as I thought, good car but seems not quite all the package I hoped.

You can make the corsa vxr mental with some mods stiffen up suspension good quality tyres exhaust induction kit remap and forged engine mines at 275bhp its a little rocket ship round the track. Only probs is I’ve had to upgrade clutch now as it ruined standard one with the extra extra power. I’ve had 197 1st and was fun but nothing on my vxr

my 197 with induction race kit and rally cams re mapped ,toyo 4.2.1. downpipe with cherry bomb centre box ,219bhp and shit off a shovel !!! better than any vxr corsa

Someone has said it very well here - that there is a divide here between idiots and those who know about cars, the idiot is clearly the one that would choose a half hearted, muted and uninvolving uninspiringly disappointing piece of mush (VXR - it's on the same chassis as a standard 1.4!!) - then you have those who know about cars, who would rather have the most driver focused finely honed tool that is so sharp and so much fun (Clio - I don't have one but my brother does, and it gets close to a Honda S2000 for raw thrills) - It's a choice as to what you spend money on but why advertise that you would choose the bottom of the class as opposed to the top!

Rural part to driving test is a good idea,as is night and after passing motorway entitlement test-maybe have to spend an hour on a motorway with your instructor before being allowed to use them,...I grew up in the sticks so i'm used to the environment but many live in cities,learn to drive in them never going much above 30mph and never experience narrow,fast country roads at their worst...We need a staged driving test in the uk..Far too many shit scared and inexperienced drivers out there

Jared Yu Safety is not about opinion, it's about facts. And facts say that Renault was the safest brand in the last 10 years. It got the highest safety rating first in all segments, and after Renault other manufacturers, including Volvo, started getting the same ratings. Every car model Renault put on the market since 2001 was the safest in the segment, until someone else managed to match them a few years later.

This car is insanely over-engineered. Do you know that Renault was actually losing money on Laguna II? Each car costed more to produce than they sold it at. At the time in 2001, it was very hard to make a car this safe. Thats why nobody did it. Thats why Renault invested so much money just as a showcase that they can do it, and they made the safest car in the world. Laguna from 2001 still has a stiffer body and is safer than most new cars in the segment.

You can spot the intelligent people in here amongst the hordes of idiots. How can you compare something as polished, nimble and as driver focused as humanly possible as a RS197 to a numb, wobbly, unresponsive Corsa. Even in VXR trim it has nothing on the Clio. The only real rivals are the Fiestas, Civics and other small French hot hatches. Look at Chris Harris's review. Why do you think anyone who knows anything about cara slate the VXR but love anything RenaultSport. No competition IMO.
