Thank you for providing them with the love and security so they can be all they were meant to be …. I have 6 great Pyrs ( not LGD ) but they are an amazing breed for families who have experience with a “thinking “dog { training is necessary } who will know they will be large , shed and can be quite vocal . ❤

You pronounced it correctly! As his first owner, I had him successfully bonded to sheep, goats and poultry, so there's hope! He has had some bad luck after my farm closed, but I know this sweet boy can be a great dog for the right person. Thank you for taking him in ❤❤

Does Paislee have a UTI? She urinates very frequently. The hairy lgds are prone to it with contamination of her fur around her lady parts. My LGD was prone to it and also fly strike for the same reason.

Coda has been to vet to get scans and opinion on what to do going forward. Leg is actually better now and I have to see how this goes. He was on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory. There is nothing else besides removing the leg. Coda wont do well in recovery in his personality. Coda will get checked out and more scans soon as it changes.

Quick question? Why are so many lgds surrendered? I have a year old great Pyrenees/Anatolian shepherd mix and it's been really hard to keep control of her. I didn't believe everyone who warned me that she needed a job, but I adore her. Can a lgd ever really be happy indoors?
