Being born and brought up in Chard I remember all the stations in town and travelling behind the "Chard Snail" a little pannier tank loco. The line ran between Chard junction and Taunton, both great venues for train spotting.

Shelia, I agree that there are lots of problems in the world. I was trying to record an annual event that marks a piece of history. Our history helps us to understand the way things are now, and if we don't remember we can never find a better way. Kate

@@katepearce6199 I just think all these western liberals and Republicans don't understand how lucky they are, I thank God I'm from England and not afanistan, the chances I can be given here to better myself, also these people fail to understand people are literally dying to get there to be apart of out system, although I'm not saying everything is perfect
