[Not a pilot] Is there always that much feedback in the cyclic on a K-max?
@roberttriner62426 ай бұрын
Dude, why the stupid gay ass music? If you're going to play it put it way down low in the volume level. Quit watching this crap immediately just because this crap ass music. Tired of that shit

8 + millions dollar for a helicopter to only lift 1 max 6000lb. log at a time ! How much lift weights if I spend 12 + millions ? 😂😂😂

Someone stole a ton of your footage for a video ABOUT the k max…thought you should know as it has you getting into it and using it..that’s how I found this video anyways… looking into getting into this kind of flying before it’s too late and I’m too old

Where are the vibrations in the cyclic coming from? Is it standard? Btw, thanks for the great vid!

Going by a max lift of 6k lbs, I guess this apparatus leaves about 4.5k- 5k lbs for a log. Pretty slick. 👍

I see why a 2x4 costs $8.00 now 🤔... and a wood blade for this aircraft is about a MILLION Bucks ! WOW ... but what a fantastic flying machine it is !😁

I bothered by the off center strobe on the bracket in between the rotors
these kmax machines vibrate and shake a lot. Blades unbalanced or something?
@Bendigo12 жыл бұрын
It is difficult to really balance them when they are alternating positions. the wheight shifts back and forth as the blades turn. one side gets heavier as the blades go out while the other side gets lighter. Then when in the air. the lift changes as the blades rotate.

No music needed. why stick it on a helicopter video ?

So do you get twice the lifting power over a single blade, half more then a 4 bladed rotor? You would think the blades that cross over each other wouldn't get much stable air and wash each other out.. if that makes sense.
@joshua.merrill2 жыл бұрын
I think because of the direction of blade movement on a single rotor, half of the blade has increased lift going forward, then decreased lift going backward. With the dual rotors design, and the tilt, it makes it to where there is a high lift arc on both sides of the aircraft, and the low lift arcs don’t interfere so much. Plus, now you don’t need a tail rotor.
@Bendigo12 жыл бұрын
If i remember correctly, the lift is not quite twice as much, but it is more than a single rotor design.

Why are the logs dropped into the water
@BlythmanInc3 жыл бұрын
On the North Coast there is no road access to a lot of places where we log so timber is dropped into what is called a pocket then once full, they are towed to the mill from there by a big tug.
