Cheer !!!! You have found the solution to facilitate FPV driving on RC car and therefore approach the speed of non-FPV driving. When we know that when we restore the speed to the scale of the car (1/8 for 60 km / h on a real scale we approach 480 km / h "60X8") madness 😊. But the problem outside the aesthetics of the car is the breakage of the camera in the event of a rollover of the car. (Do you have a parry against camera breakage?).

Just wanted to say thanks for this video. I had setup dji fpv on my rc car but it was hard to see far enough ahead with my camera mounted low on the car. I don't know why I hadn't thought of mounting it higher up until I watched your video. It's much better now that it's higher up and i've got everything switched to 4:3 aspect ratio.
@steadyeddie44883 жыл бұрын
I hope more people like you will run at racing speeds. However, some people still mount their cameras on the roof. Some people say that the camera mount I devised isn't cool. And everyone runs the RC car slowly.
@JustInvertedFpv3 жыл бұрын
@@steadyeddie4488 I've been flying fpv drones for years so to me the cool part is the view through the camera and the experience of being in the seat. Definitely doesn't bother me what it looks like on the car. 👍

just for the sake of discussion... 1) REDUCE mass, wherever possible. use ONE wing, having a slightly greater span!!! 2) a wing is more stable, when it makes LIFT. use a lift-making single-surface profile in the wing. the profile Should be shaped like the upper surface of a clark-y profile. see link. 3) in order to maintain a positive angle of attack (aoa), of this type of airfoil needs to be mounted with about three degrees of positive aoa; relative to its leading edge. 4) in a Normal conventional airframe, the optimal location of cg is Supposed to be at Thirty percent of chord. a cg located AFT of that will Definitely cause Reduced control authority. 5) you may know that, compared to Traditional materials, foam is Heavy,! 6) the span of the horiz-stab of a powered, controlled, model Should be equal to thirty percent of wingspan. 7) two vert-stabs are Heavier than one. but, maybe acceptable in this wonky design. 8) the amount of mass in broad areas/panels CAN be reduced; with CUTOUTS. at larger sizes, cutouts can be covered with tape, etc. in this case, tape would weigh as much a the material removed. so, don't tape over. see my tutorials, if interested. 9) learn how to Fabricate the lightest possible (correctly sized) flight surfaces. 10) CF is Heavy. do NOT use CF, especially in a Tiny model, if Bamboo or WOOD/pine/poplar/spruce will work.!!!! googletranslate 1.bp.blogspot.com/-5C8vhlmhBOk/VRe3o3Jt3yI/AAAAAAAABrI/EEgVHXkLvbY/s1600/clark%2By.gif wright.nasa.gov/airplane/shortw.html

Love steering mechanism How have you kept it so front wheel is still free bit and dose it have gyro ?
@steadyeddie44883 жыл бұрын
This motorcycle does not have an electronic gyro. The steering servo moves in the opposite direction to the direction you want to turn. However, the steering turns in the direction you want to turn. Install a spring so that it does not get in the way.

When you want to turn right, turn the steering to the left. After floating the tires, shake the car body from side to side and check that the steering is lightly turned.
