Its is claimed that the apostles linked 'God the Father' & 'The Lord Jesus Christ' as if they were presenting the two as ONE! Just the epistle to the Ephesians proves this a 'twisting' of scripture! Starting with Paul's intro 1:3 "Blessed be the GOD AND FATHER OF the Lord Jesus Christ". Then 1:17 "That the GOD OF our Lord Jesus Christ". Then 2:16 "(Christ) Reconciled us TO GOD". Then 3:9; "God who created all things THROUGH Christ". Then 3:14 "I bow my knees unto THE FATHER OF our Lord Jesus Christ". Then 4:6 "9There is ONE GOD AND FATHER of all, who is ABOVE ALL..". 5:2 "(Christ) hath loved us and hath given himself for us as an offering and a SACRIFICE TO GOD". 5:20; "Giving thanks always for ALL THINGS UNTO GOD THE FATHER in the name of Jesus Christ". The FATHER is Supreme!

Thanks for the comment, Peter. One of the main issues you raise is whether the persons of the Trinity can view each other as divine ("God"). Here are two helpful explainers from a Trinitarian perspective: www.str.org/w/if-jesus-is-god-why-does-he-call-the-father-my-god- www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-say-my-God.html

Missed a very important part, they were cymros. Celts, Gauls. 🏴✝️

Thanks for the comment. I explore whether ethnic Gauls are addressed starting at 0:38.

@@FastFactsTheology not really ethnic Galatians doesn’t mean anything on its own. Also the romans have covered up our identity and history. Irenaeus went from there to Gaul, he spoke the language. They spoke the same language in Gaul as in Galatia. They spoke the language in Galatia from 300bc to 400ad. The gospel came straight to the celts. Much to share. Don’t forget Galilee means circuit and also is in gaulanitis. The romans did the usual trick of saying it’s named after something else and splitting the area up. Much to share.

Peter sinned and was confronted as to maintain grace he must not sin, and the circumcision were aware of his sin. My Ytube video #11 in the series 'Myths in so-called Christianity' on my site Simon John Skinner.

Asking "of what" is the wrong question to ask. The text says He emptied by taking....
@FastFactsTheology2 жыл бұрын
You're right that it's a misleading question, but it's the natural question asked by many Christians, which is why I proposed it in the way I did here. You're also right that the verb "emptied" doesn't have an object, so "taking" in some way modifies that verb.

Thanks! This is helpful--well done. I especially appreciated the idea that Philemon must have responded well to this little letter or else it would not have entered the canon.
