Please do not go near one of the diesel Qashqai cars they are the biggest heaps of shite on the market loads and loads of issues .money pit cars .that coming from a mechanic for over 40years experience stay clear for god sake.

I've got one. 59 plate. Currently replacing all the exhaust. Parts are more expensive than the hatchback model. Discs and pads are cheap enough. Clever hack if you want more legroom in back behind front passenger if you pump passenger seat up to its highest position you get a few extra inches of knee room for rear passenger. I'm 6ft 3 so not much chance someone getting in behind me. I can manage it but driving close to steering wheel is weird. Can just about squeeze 4 blokes over 6ft inside but that was with roof down.

I have a 2009 diesel i800, a previous owner used it for his taxi business. It's done 230,000 miles and still purrs like a pussy cat, also there's no rot anywhere on the bodywork. I use it as my daily drive and it never lets me down. I would highly recommend these vehicles as they are so practical to own.
