Good video. But I think your work generally needs a quite a bit more contrast--especially the tighter images (where you lose the highlights in the sky--and you are left to manufacture them with your software). That is, more brights and more substantial darks, while still retaining your midtones (as you have nicely done). Your image at 14:28 is a prime example. You have some highlights and some darker areas, and a lot of nice midtones. But in order to accent the midtones, you just need more very brights (by at least a stop and a half) and more very darks (same--stop and a half). Not hard to do with any basic photo software. Anyway, good video, I enjoyed watching!

I was the lookout on Sourdough in1979. My favorite! Loved running the long ridge to the west and swimming in the faultline pools. Great memories!

Most beautiful tribute. We lost two dogs this year. If you are ready to think about another German Shepard, Stanislaus County here has more than 40 in their shelter including German Shepherd puppies.

I had those awesome views for a 92 days in a row. Was the lookout in 1969. Travel that up and down trail six times during my stay. Took 5 hours uphill and an hour and 15 minutes down. I wound up being a professional photographer. Have several views of the lookout from the old days. Just beautiful
