Ok so in quest app version switcher, when I click option " 8:04 1.28 and hit next, im getting a screen that says "your current beat saber version is 1.29.0. This version doesn't support mods yet. Down grade your game to 1.28.0 to use mods" "To downgrade your game you need to log in to your meta account, do this by pressing login below" ..... do I press that login button?

so i did this but it only temporarily works cause for some reason if i restart my headset or the controller disconnects in anyway, the deadzone will reset it shows it still being set and i have to press reset deadzone to set it again but it acts as if there is no deadzone

This is BY FAR the easiest and most successful method. You do not even need to have a PC. You can use an iMac etc as well. I suspect you can even use a Chromebook or phone (if it has the right port) Literally takes 10 minutes to do and 95% of the process is automated. You quite literally only have to plug in a cord and press a few buttons. It even saves songs and files from previous methods like BMBF! (This is all assuming you have developer mode on already, but it is super simple to do as well) anyways, you very very very helpful. Thanks!

This method doesn't work on its own anymore due to VR chat company updating the security instead of whitelisting blanket untrusted URLs, they have to be whitelisted by the owner of the world too Some worlds it works because the owner is active and able to make the change but this channel hasn't been visited by the owner for a long while
