Hokkaido looks beautiful! I'd love to go there in the winter...wish I knew Japanese though :( if I could I'd take time off from work/other university stuff, and focus on continuing to learn Russian but also take up Chinese and Japanese :/ but that's probably just a dream.

As the only child living separately from my parents in Singapore. The time I spent studying here is obviously more than that I spent with my parents in Thailand. Living in Singapore for eight years was tough at first as I was young and naive. As time went by, I grew accustomed to the local culture and environment. However, I longed to go on a vacation with my family overseas. For what seems like an eternity, my parents have booked three flight tickets, one for each of us to Hokkaido, Japan in November. The experience I had there was amazing. The scenery was extremely breathtaking, the people were polite and the food there were awesome. However the reason that made me genuinely happy was that my parents were there with me. We finally had the time to spend together. On the first day we went down to the national park which we were required to hike up steep slopes. Although it was tiring but the view we got to see at the destination made up for it. Every single meal we had were out of this world. They were fresh and delicious, the thought of it is making me drool at the moment. The cleanliness and technology present there wowed me. The toilet seats have many unique functions such as seat warmer and automatic water spray. What's even more jaw dropping is that, this kind of toilet is widely available throughout Japan. Overall my experience in Japan together with my parents is definitely forever engraved in my memory.

I was in Hokkaido in 1995. A great memorable experience for me. I stayed in Lusis Sapporo Hotel and my foster parent in Atsubetsu,Mr. and Mrs.Takeda. I visited the Chocolate Museum...Chiyazaki Perfecture. ..sport complex...Okurayama Ski Jump....Odari Park....many more....really miss Sapporo ..sukidesu sapporo. ..I wish to be there once again....
