I live in Canada and the price of those turbo cans are crazy high. $25.99 - $29.22. At these prices it just about cheaper to get a spray gun and normal automotive paint.

Nice job. Two suggestions if already not mentioned. Make sure your tire is the right rotation before putting on the rim. Mark with a marker where the tire and valve line up and put accordingly with other rim.( to keep balance close as possible)

Looks good. You’ll have to do an update video in the future and let us know how it’s holding up. My only worry would be the sun making it dull out without any clear coat on there. Nevertheless though you did a good job. Respect.

Ive used this method 2 times and have several others. Its a great way to protect your Car and give it Color. But needs Clear which they sell in Turbo cans and a cut and buff. I promise a close up will show Orange peel. Just nature of the Paint.

Looks good. I got a 72 as well but I have to sand and put self etching primer before painting my grandfather primered it before he died but it’s chipping. Do you think you’ll put clear coat eventually?

I've been doing it by hand 40 years 15 inch and larger wheels are easier 14 inch wheels and less a much tougher to do this guy made it look easier than it really is you have to be in good shape to do this if not you could possibly give yourself a heart attack I'm 68 years old now I still do it once in a while since I'm up in age I recommend anybody else up in age let a tire shop do it

Very impressive. Great technique! A real mechanic has more than one way to accomplish the same thing. Thank you for showing me this trick. One suggestion. Always! Wear safety glasses when using tools! Also there’s companies that supply a valve stem that can be installed without breaking down the tire! Which I discovered, you guessed it! On KZbin.
