12” Sawzall blade is needed to cut thru the fiberglass, insulation and water lines that you will encounter when cutting. Those small little grinder and saws are cute but won’t get the job done efficiently

@supremejunkremoval By circular saw I meant large concrete saw with appropriate blade. But I went for a reciprocating too in the end and quickly discovered why that's the tool of choice! For anyone else reading this, 12" blade is the way to go, Kango 'wood chopper' made quick work of things

Fill a basket with the bottles and bring them to the toilet, sit in front of your toilet and dump each one and crush the bottles throwing them out... Where a strong respirator/gas mask and tape your fingers with climbing tape so they don't tear open from opening each bottle and closing them. Otherwise you can hire a crew to clean it and they'll just throw it out, I don't recommend throwing them away full yourself because the garbage men compact the trash and it will get everywhere but if you hire someone they'll know not to crush it. Hope this helps and you can do it, it may take time but you got this... 🙏❤️

@ heya! Thank you so much for the advice and well wishes <3, I actually finished it a few months ago now! What I ended up doing was just sealing them all tightly then throwing them away at our local dump. It felt very wrong to dispose of it that way, but my family convinced me it was fine to do, and I couldn’t find any information online suggesting it was a bad idea/illegal/unethical. The important part to me is that no one ever has to interact with those bottles in any way directly again. That room was such a direct reflection of my own mental health issues. I hadn’t ever cleaned it since I was very little. Actually cleaning it out and seeing it empty for the first time was a feeling like nothing else.

@@toshibe2805 dispose of it in a TRASH CAN outside instead! when you pour it down a drain or in the toilet all the spores and germs are gonna go airborne and once you can smell it the sickness has already made it into your body. dont do it mate.
