I've always loved this story since I read it in The Element. Basically because my husband is an illustrator that was punished at school for drawing during classes, and a daughter who spent her childhood on top of trees and dancing, didn't learn to read until she was 8, and now is in her 5th course dancing at the conservatory. So, yes, once you discover your talents, there is nothing better you can do for yourself and the world than dedicate yourself to them😍

Has anybody read the book? Or just listened to the song? Stay in fantasyland. It is safer there.

The world in which we live. Not the world in which we live in. Yes, I'm a pedant but this man should speak his own language correctly.

Classic Satire. I fear the current movement to get Aboriginal people employed in the mining industry is more tragic than the one discussed in this video - employment in government. In so many ways things are worse for Indigenous Australians now than in the past because the racism has become more subversive and it seems a horde of Indigenous people are now employed to tow the line of the government, not their own mob.

Wow, I'm in awe at how great that speech was. How amazing for someone to vocalize their idea's like that. And I agree, because ego's get so large, there is nothing (a genie or genius) to share in the falling or rising of to keep a balance.
