Those few moments where you hear Dennis at the end of words. At the end of "Found~" you can hear that sort of, I can't pin the words down for it, a vocal fry I think? Dennis had those really distinct ones. It's just sublime.

Was it Dennis? I thought it was just Brian singing with the rest of the band doing the other harmonies

Titusville is beautiful with its natural environment, ocean and all of God's creatures though unfortunately it is a microcosm of a controlled agenda and social engineering, perpetrated by the professional public targeting the non-professional public specifically the poor and special needs. Don't move here unless you are fully autonomous self-sustaining and are not in need of government services or proper medical care.

I keep lookin' for a place to fit in Where I can speak my mind And I've been tryin' hard to find the people That I won't leave behind They say I got brains But they ain't doin' me no good I wish they could Each time things start to happen again I think I got somethin' good goin' for myself But what goes wrong Sometimes I feel very sad Sometimes I feel very sad (Ain't found the right thing I can put my heart and soul into) Sometimes I feel very sad (Ain't found the right thing I can put my heart and soul into) I guess I just wasn't made for these times Every time I get the inspiration To go change things around No one wants to help me look for places Where new things might be found Where can I turn when my fair weather friends cop out What's it all about Each time things start to happen again I think I got somethin' good goin' for myself But what goes wrong Sometimes I feel very sad Sometimes I feel very sad (ain't found the right thing I can put my heart and soul into) Sometimes I feel very sad (ain't found the right thing I can put my heart and soul into) I guess I just wasn't made for these times I guess I just wasn't made for these times I guess I just wasn't made for these times I guess I just wasn't made for these times I guess I just wasn't made for these times I guess I just wasn't made for these times

Why are people obsessed with “it was all in his head?” First of all, says who? Second of all, if someone else arrives at “brilliant” music one line at a time, then they still get there, too. I’m tired of genius mentality-no. Perfectly ordinary randos can have a threshold of aptitude for which years and years and years of study, practice, studio techniques, money, opportunity, communal sharing, and luck ALL determine greatness beyond reductive genius-magic. It’s genius to people who don’t understand what expertise really requires. It’s honestly capitalist propaganda that gave us warrior-bootstrap-individuality nonsense that has never been true of any important culture. Even Newton said he was on the shoulders of giants… I fully trust that, not some divine revelation voodoo gobbledegook passed down from Jesus to some guy named Brian. He probably played piano for a bit. Probably went to school. Probably ate food and wore two shoes, etc. Give him your respect, but calm the worship of celebs as gods along peasants. Bro is a peasant, too

1:20 The layering of "but we can be" is such a nice subtle touch. It creates a lot of bounce in the feel of the song.
