Nick, I came across your video yesterday. Assuming because I started my running journey about a week ago and I've been consuming content around the activity. I've been athletic my entire life (outside of recent years with small children). I used to power lift and entered a couple competitions (benching 350lbs+ and squating 500lbs+ at only 170lbs body weight; no cap) a little over 7 years ago. But the ironic thing is that, when I think back to when I FELT the most fit and healthy in my life... my mind instantly goes back to my time as a boxer in high school. I didn't realize this at the time, but we did a TON of running all over the city and at a slow pace, so that we wouldn't leave the slower runners behind. Last week I across the concept of Zone 2 & 3 running and it *clicked* (just like the way I was able to lift all that heavy weight, I had to HUMBLE myself and work on technique, running and lifting: 10% physical & 90% mental)... before last week, when I would run 1-2 miles it was at a fast pace and I felt gassed and hated every bit of it.... Last week when I decided to pace myself and focus more on heart rate, than speed (Zone 2) as if I was back in my boxing days... I ran for a full hour, for the first time in my life!... next day 45min...next 1hr... next day 1hr... and It feels incredible and I can't wait to see where this journey leads me next... 5k's, 10k's, marathons, etc... I'm open. Keep the vids coming, you are definitely going to inspire others on a great hobby and way of life with the help of your story.

@@nicksdogs great guard dogs. Are your Cane Corso's mixed with anything? Would you recommend a certain breed (Cane Corso) vs bad idea around small children (5 and 7)?
