The following steps below are the solution I did for the ice maker issues we had for BOSCH Refrigerator Model No B36CL81ENG/05. I've had couple of instances that the ice maker wasn't working or not dispensing ice and with online research & advise from a somebody I know who have a professional knowledge with ice maker issues, I made this easy step for everyone. To start, let me declare that I am not a refrigerator professional or expert in this field but the following are the steps I did and successfully resolved the issue. Please follow the suggested procedure at your own risk. Since you would be performing fixes for an electrical appliance, please check with the User Manual and make sure to research on the proper safety procedures before performing the following steps. 1. Open the freezer drawer up to the stop. 2. If available with the refrigerator model, move up the ice maker flap to open, and locate the Power button. 3. Find hidden (black & unlit) recessed button to the right or next to the the Power button. 4. IMPORTANT RESET STEP - Push ONCE slightly this hidden recessed button with a thin phillips-head screw driver or with toothpick (a straightened paper clip will do). This step should start to resets the ice maker. 5. The Power button will begin to flash green light while the ice maker makes some movements or re-positioning of the ice maker tray. Observe if the ice maker tray is positioned upright and/or, if available with the refrigerator model, that ice maker tray cover is engaged. A hissing noise from the ice maker could be the sound of water filling the ice tray. 6. After the flashing intervals & re-positioning of the ice maker tray is complete, the Power button will revert to a lighted solid green. Close the ice maker flap after successful completion of this procedure. 7. Close the freezer drawer & you now completed the steps required to reset the ice maker. Depending on your freezer temperature settings, wait up to three hours and check if new ice cubes has been dispensed. Once ready, ice cubes are automatically discharged into the ice cube bin. You can accelerate ice cube production (refer to the User's Manual) by setting colder freezer temperature or switching on super freezing. Ice cube production stops automatically when the maximum filling level of the ice cube bin is reached If ice maker still doesn't dispense any ice cubes after a good 3 or 4 hours, you can try switching off the circuit breaker to the refrigerator for 30 minutes & turn it back on. All our vehicles require 5w20. I've always put 5w30 in the vehicle as soon as I start seeing oil consumption. I've never had any issues with 5w30 full synthetic and I've been doing it for over a decade.. I've never used 5w30 conventional in place of 5w20 so I can't comment on that.😀

Must be low ash and mineral based to avoid issues. Basically first time I used 500ml in a full tank on my discovery 2 TD5. Then I put in roughly 250ml for each 1/2 tank top up, so basically running a ratio of 200-1. The tank capacity is 93 litres Smoother, quieter and better fuel consumption by around 5 mpg.
