Akkermansia feeds on meat. When you go carnivore your gut microbiome will change and you will have mostly akkermansia. Colon cancer is associated with Akkermansia

I was talking to Dr Chaffee in Austin a few weeks ago. He was telling how the body has a knack for healing damaged organs once the diet is corrected and the cholesterol and mitochondria start doing their jobs. Question- do you feel the drinking of alcohol was the factor? How much were you drinking? Excessive amounts? I drink a little bit of scotch a few days a week. Maybe 3 to 6 oz when I do. Because of my group of friends who all love scotch.. we get together a lot and have a couple drinks. Maybe I should stop all that and drink my scotch once or twice a month.

Thanks for the comment. I can't see how any alcohol helps, and yes, in the past, I did drink too much for sure. However, I have also taken a LOT of Motrin and or Tylenol over the years. Perhaps it was a condition which was brought about by all these factors AND the potential synergy of the individual factors.

Hey Scott, good to see you! You always go live when I'm at work (West Coast), and I can only pop in when the boss is away. Thanks for letting us know what's up with you. Yeah, KZbin sucks for independent creators. The rules and algorithms are totally stacked towards only biggest independent channels and the corporate channels. Hard to believe that KZbin was created FOR the little guys, for everyday people like you and me. That's why the founders named it You Tube! Anyway, keep plugging along, and stay Carnivore! 💜🙏🏼

Hi Scotty, hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July 🇺🇸 🥳🎇🎆🎊💥🎉! That’s amazing that you understood a dog needed help and that you came to the rescue to help save that doggy!! And it’s so neat that Sunday the dog said “help help my siblings in trouble” in its own way or crying tone of bark !!! And that you understood what he was saying!!! Like on the tv show Lassie used to bark or cry “Help, Timmy fell in the well, he needs help!!” Our minidachshund barked that way the other day and it’s a totally different call which is so good to be aware of!! Thank you for sharing, love this❤🎉🥳💥🎆🎇🎉🎊🙏✝️💪🥩🥩💪❤️✝️🙏❤️

Great attitude. I think it's important to remember all of the changes you've been going through and that will sometimes look like steps backwards on tests. The mind/body connection is very integral. Good for you for keeping up a positive outlook. You're doing a great thing here and inspiring others like me! Thank you! 🙂👍🇨🇦

Hello Scott: I agree that moving the body and resistance training are absolutely essential, especially as we age. I'm 68 years old. The farmers carry is a staple for me as well. Also, I own a few sets of resistance bands, including some heavy-duty ones. They're relatively inexpensive and are totally portable. Almost every conceivable exercise with any intensity is possible with these, just being consistent is key. Great video. Thanks.

Another EXTREMELY important video!! I love the fact that you lead by example!! If I could only watch one carnivore youtuber, it would be you. People over the age of 40 desperately need to hear and see your (our) messages on not only nutrition, but movement/ exercises as well. PLEASE keep doing what you are doing.

Today was market day, I ate 3 eggs fried in bacon fat with 4 pieces of bacon…then went to local grocer and got small NY strips and other beef on clearance…fried in butter …. Yummm….put chuck roast with water and butter into crock pot to cook. Plenty of broths goodness!

Each of us have our path, and if takes some time so be it. I suppose we can just do the things we can do. Today I was able to motivate myself to walk. Tomorrow will have to take care of it's self.

Those shots could have been taken in the Netherlands. No mountains and landscape looks very similar. I noticed the same thing in Kipp's walking videos. You live in the same area?
@CarnivoreScott8 ай бұрын
I live in northern Alabama, and Kipp is in south Alabama. We have more hills here, it's just that I live on a plateau. I have been to the Netherlands, back in the 70's & 80's. Mostly Madurodam, Rotterdam, and of course Amsterdam. Such a wonderful and beautiful country.

You are awesome, my friend... also, thank you for the visit, comment and kindness on my channel today, it was so nice to see you stop in. I am not sure why ... but your videos are not showing up on my KZbin page... maybe the new YT algorithm, I am not sure... I LOVED your video of going out for a walk... your walking area is beautiful (jealous girl here because I wish I had a place like that) haha... you need to make more of these kinds of videos and share your thoughts as you go out for your walk... that was very interesting. By the way, you are looking awesome.... keep up the great work within yourself, my friend!! Big Hugs! 💞

Thank you Shelley. I haven't put up many videos of late as I am working now. Perhaps when I post more the algorithm will "see" me. 🙂
