I didn’t share that information to protect the identity of the people involved. It’s not about slandering the individuals nor the particular church, as I stated in my intro. This is my former church before I relocated.I know the pastor personally and more than half the congregation and still have close friends who I communicate with on a daily basis. The golden calf parallel was drawn to show that, just as how the ppl needed to see a literal thing to worship, likewise here, the ppl were asked to touch a literal thing to symbolize touching God.

​@SimpleThingsOutreachMedia you need to read about moses and what SOP says about him. God hold leaders more responsible that the people. So if the pastors are making errors in preaching, then God is not leading them. There is a big difference between accountability. We must hold them to the high standard of christ.
