I think these facial expressions and animations are still advanced to this day, they feel really life like!

I didn't get one word, but only looking at these outlined models and animations gave me ideas on how to improve my models in Blender, thanks

A single ring of verts set at an angle works pretty well, kind of like the upper right (but simpler). Set the point of rotation dead center in the ring.

My entire model is horrible high poly. Sure runs slow as hell on my PC but I am only going to print the models on a 3d printer so re-topology seems excessive and a net loss of detail. Can't bake in details on 3d printer.

Now which hits harder? Making the bendy bits work nicely, or the heavy 303 synth?

Some parts like the ears are like the 3D version of the "Draw the owl" meme. But it's still pretty neat to watch.

Very cool setup! I'm so used to the first method, with a bone setup and mesh eyes, that I've never thought of your solution! Very innovative! Keep up the good work! とてもクールなセットアップです! 私はボーンセットアップとメッシュアイを使った最初の方法に慣れすぎていて、あなたの解決策は思いつきませんでした! とても革新的です! これからも頑張ってください!
Help 😭, can someone make an english tutorial about this? if this alrd have english version can someone tell me the title video

The whole point of the video is actually not about 3D Modelling It's about memory reduction and how much Low Poly you can push to a model to make it seamless as if it's High Polygons count Just for example, NieR Automata 2B's arm is about 2000 Polygons. 2 Arms makes it 4000 Polygons. Their level of Optimization must be done in some other way

?!?!?! I know nothing of japanese writing, but the moment i saw lattice to constrain the eyes. I have a hunch it can be done with blender. Any captain here? Would be really nice if it can be used for game models as well, since i keep seeing the weird shadow interaction on anime models.

Thank you, I m currently working on a character and didn't want to do eye like hollow inside and then just an oval geometry for the pupil like most do for anime eyes so I was experiment and this for sure will help

Yay, you're back! Glad to see you're still around. Another way to deform the eyes is using two bones: a fixed parent to change the scale, and a child to control the rotation. Basically the "group and bone" method, but with bones only.
