Then don't buy the upgrade. This isn't a requirement to play the existing game. It is an optional upgrade to improve graphics, animations and conversational flow in the game, 2 of which have been large complaints about the game since launch in 2017. However, it is not a requirement to enjoy the game at all as the original is still exceptional. But it does mean on console at least, as comments keep telling us "an outdated, restricted platform", you can get a full PS5 experience, with legitimate criticisms addressed, for around £13 with the second hand market of Horizon on PS4. If that isn't something for you, then cool, play on as you are, but it will be for many others and that's great for them too

I cant speak for everyone but if you're genuinely asking why, well its because I want a new experience. But I also hate f2p because recently every f2p game I play has become so riddled with hackers that they're unplayable, like I loved the finals and than its bascially died because you get a cheater every game and than I was gonna try xdefiant until my friend uninstalled it because it has like 5x the cheaters as cod does because cod is paid to play, and considering I've hit top 500 in overwatch only to get placed against entire teams of cheaters sometimes, I just want a game where I can get good at an trust the cheater issue wont eventually make all that time and money I invest goes to waste as it's useless to get good at a game that allows people to cheat for the same reward. And finally I just like the game, it looks fun, its looks like its gonna play like a balanced version of crucible from destiny and i always wondered what destiny would look like as overwatch since theyve always neutered the fun out of their abilities because if you dont put a half a second lock out on the blink ability than everyone's gonna run around like a tracer with a shotgun 😂 So having the premade kits like overwatch allows for the kit to be centered around blink to balance it, which is why people main blink warlock in destiny, its not because the ability is good lmao, its certainly not because of that but in this game the blink warlock could become a thing and itll actually be viable if not meta sometimes.

Oh I got one more on why I hate f2p, but this could be the case in concord too I suppose, just its unlikely as the monitaztion is most likely gonna be exactly like helldivers2. But I'm sick of seeing cool skins in overwatch, only to realise its 20$, or god forbid I want that new mythic Reinhardt wep because that sob is gonna set me back 80$ 😂 Or dont even get me started on the 500$ skin in apex! F2p has gotten absolutely out of control, they're just barbie simulators now where they balance to sell you the skins because they gotta make up for that free to enter model somehow right? 😂
