When Werner Nadolny had left PETER PANKA'S JANE, and had started WERNER NADOLNY'S JANE, PETER PANKA'S JANE's band members were almost the same as the band members of HARLIS, except for the drummer (Fritz Randow), and gitarist Klaus Walz. Charly Maucher (bass), Wolfgang Krantz (guitar, and keyboards), and Arndt Schulz (vocals, guitar) all three were member of both bands. Werner Loehr was the drummer of HARLIS.

This band is Fantastic, I once had many of their LPs, loved them then and still do, Thank you for sharing !

After the death of Peter Panka, his best friend and the most important member of JANE, Werner Nadolny decided in 2008 to perform under the new name WERNER NADOLNY'S JANE to win back the original JANE sound with the new band. In this way he keep up Peter Pankas lifework of JANE !

@gregputman: No, this Jane-Band has nothing to do with the band "Harlis", which split in 1977. It is true that Werner founded "Harlis" (togehter with Charly Maucher and Klaus Zaake) in 1974, but Werner Nadolny was also founding member, composer and arranger of the legendary Krautrockband JANE. As the most know by now the band JANE has after 1994 fragmented into three with name affix...
