All the lack of skills, discipline and aggression associated with non-League football. Utterly appalling.

The referee was spot on with both red cards. The players complaining must be from another planet. As for the guest commentator ‘Gary’ . . He’s also from another planet!

Jeez. Sometimes I forget how good the England team were at that time. Shame Tremlett had injuries and such a short time at the top of his game.

If only it had one of Richie Benaud's favourite lines "beaten by sheer pace" I hope the score was 222-2 👌

Fair play to the lad…took it on the chin on every occasion it was dished out and then gave us some back a couple of years later, with interest. A fine cricketer.

Correction, Stevenage won the Conference in 1996 but denied promotion as the ground wasn't good enough for League standards - at that time.

I flew in from Cape Town that day to see stevenage win at Wembley. Best jet lag result I've ever had . Great memories. Full credit to both teams on the day.

England at their best and Australia at their worst and England could only muster a 3-1 victory. Johnson just bided his time and we saw the fire and fury in 2013. 37 wickets, 13 average, plus the retirements / sackings of KP, Trott, Swann, Andy Flower, and a totally demolished change rooms. Every dog has his day. Johnson was down and almost out here but yeah he came back like no other in recent times.

I watch this after all this time, great memories for an English fan after all the beatings by the Aussies, but it mostly makes me respect Johnson. To come back from this series and stuff us again. What character, what heart.
