This is yet another example of your versatility and expertise. You manage to thread that golden needle. That is to say creating something very abstract but deeply communicative. Constantly engaging pieces. I'm sure it was a mesmerizing event live.

I am happy with the recordings (first time recording and producing one of my own pieces more professionally) but the whole project was by far the most frustrating and creatively one of the most challenging projects I’ve ever done, so this whole thing kind of left nothing but a bad memory. Everything about it was difficult and tiresome. I hope I can look back on it slightly more fondly in a few years, but at the moment, not really.

Milo, Once again your expressive range and powers of invention are on display. This is also an excellent performance and recording of which you should be proud and really does the music justice. I like the rhythmic freedom and variety you achieve while making very few metric changes....which confirms a suspicion I have that some contemporary composers feel compelled to change meter so often in ways that don't seem strictly neccessary. It's wonderful to hear the complexity of all the variously timed clashes and to see that the score is so intelligible and straightforward.
