I bought album: Giant Steps ( John Coltrane ) from record shop : Hime and Addison, Manchester, England, UK, in 1960. Initially discovered John Coltrane, at that era/time, after listening to Miles Davis, Album: Milestones. I was 20 years of age at that time. I'm still a fan of John Coltrane, Sorry for being boringly nostalgic !! Anyway, Peace to all who read my comments.

I mean, in the real world a lot of rocks that look climbable actually aren't, and are either too slippery, too crumbly, too jagged, etc... And just like in HFW, sometimes only portions of rockfaces are climbable and you have to backtrack to find a better path (unless, possibly, you have tools to make your own handholds). To me, being able to wall crawl across every surface for no apparent reason (seriously Nintendo, just say that it's his Champion Ability, or something) until it rains or you are locked out from that mechanic to keep from trivializing Shrine puzzles felt a lot less immersive, especially after playing games like inFamous Second Son/First Light, Insomniac's Spider-Man, and Gravity Rush 1/2 (all by other Sony Studios) which had in-universe explanations for that mechanic. Honestly, whenever people talk up how immersive and realistic BotW is, I keep getting the feeling that they have never tried doing something similar to the action they are talking about in real life because the action in question is actually super cartoony and nothing like its real life counterpart, which is really weird when they are praising stuff like Link getting struck by lightning every few seconds because he's wearing metal outside during a thunderstorm. I'm just imagining a bunch of people only buying wood-framed umbrellas and throwing off their jeans and electronics any time they get caught in a sudden downpour.
