I Stand With You Jackie and Anthony.. on this Topic.. I know this city very well as I listen to Glenn & Anthony it brings back memiries of my own history in this city. I, too, got my first job at 16 years old, City Hall Engineering dept 10th floor.. Rosie Maria Jenkins hired me for cities Lighting district file clerk.. it was The Ceda Program.. I worked there I think 7 years. Today I am a Black Women Small Business Owner in LB and that has not been easy.. LB raves that's it's small business friendly but it's not.. I was gentrified at 352 East 3rd street in 2007..after 16 years of being in business at that address. The City comes in to assist you in leasing from previous developers.. THAT WOULD MAKE ME NOT ONLY A FOOL BUT A FIELD NEGRO.. I can't trust this city to have my best interest in mind..that year I rolled quarters and dimes to have what was needed to buy a building in 2007 God provided me the opportunity of this location at 1001 East 4th Street.. I've just recently learned that I am the only black women in this zip code that even owns its own commercial building.. I understand the importance of Generational Wealth.. And it's because of that, that the City and as far as I'm concerned, LA County Jobs i found would not get me where I need to go in life.. We are one as Black People and we really need to embrace each other's struggles and understand that when I fight on his behalf I'm fighting for generations after he & me.. As I should.. Jackie, I would love to hear from you again.. Glenn I'm so proud of you for doing your homework to win.. Anthony, That's what it's going to take. Don't let them see your hand and do your homework.. you know you can count on me 💯

There was enough things posted on several cars, billboards and businesses to let me know I was in Texas. And the Texas I knew Texas to be. 🤣

@@JackieRaeTV I've never seen stuff on Billboards, etc. I experienced racism years ago when I first moved here. But who I am as a Black Man I'm not letting anyone run me off so to speak. I stood firm and became one of my Companies best salesman. If you don't truly believe in who you are failure will always be an excuse for running when things get tough
