The bad in the world is because of sin. And I believe Satan uses a lot of it to break ppl and turn them away from God. But God can turn all things to a proclamation of His glory.

The only access Jesus had to divinity while here on earth is through the Holy Spirit. We see this in His very active prayer life. This same power we have access today. If Jesus had a "divine advantage" then His example would be in vain

Matthew 3:2 John the Baptist proclaimed " the king of heaven is at hand". Mark 1:15 Jesus declared that He had come. This is interesting, prophecy confirms that the Bible is true and it's God's Holy word.

Barnabas saw Mark's potential and encouraged him not to leave the ministry. We need to encourage and help others to find their place in sharing the gospel. Everyone has his place in ministry.

Paul's character and Mark's were different. Paul because of his other life was aggressive..he brought this to the ministry. Mark seemed to be of a quiet disposition. Therefore they wouldn't have blened well in the ministry.

What motivated the Waldenses to crave study of the word? Along with what you said, I think it’s the effect that light has in darkness. The light which the Bible brought was so life-changing that they could never bear to be in darkness again. It’s in my memory and no one can take it away from me again. Their goal then was to preserve and share this same experience with all who were still in darkness.

When we look at the story of Job we often forget that by the end of it, Job is no more the wiser about why these things happened to him. His final resolve is that God is God and His character remains unchanged despite our circumstances.
