Cinq rames sont tombées en panne dans le tunnel sous la Manche en raison des conditions météorologiques sévères, notamment la neige et le froid extrême. Le conducteur de l'Eurostar a dû appeler à l'aide en utilisant la radio sol-train GSM-R et le talkie-walkie spécial Eurotunnel. Heureusement, un signal sonore a permis l'ouverture des portes, permettant aux passagers de sortir des rames en panne et de traverser le tunnel de service. Ils ont été pris en charge par des taxis anglais à Ebbsfleet et ont ensuite continué leur trajet vers Londres St-Pancras à bord des trains de substitution Class 395 "Javelin". Une véritable aventure ! Vous aimez les récits de ce genre ou cela vous rappelle un événement particulier ?
