It's an Orient Star that's enough for me. A perfect watch, it has very good time, it has the fine hands in the best cobalt blue, it has a beautiful and strong bracelet that anyone who changes it with a leather strap is just bad taste. I have the blue one and ordered the white one today. When I look at it I smile without wanting to. Orient has a cool elegance in contrast to Seiko which has exhausted the limits of seriousness.

How do you like it lol? I’m just about to buy an open heart and don’t know if I should go orient or Seiko, price range is 300-600

@@ShortSubmission I had an orient bambino before the open heart came out, it got stolen so it’s a little more special to get an equivalent replacement. Personally I love the domed glass and think it makes the watch pop a lot more as a dress watch, but I wear it fairly casually as well and it fits any fit. Seiko will get you a lot more respect from people who kind of know watches but an orient will make people question what it even is. Sadly though my last bambino was accurate to a couple seconds per week maybe even better, this one will skip 3-5 seconds a day, even so, great watch and I love it. The open heart mechanism is really beautiful and functions like a dream. Also stop second watches are the way to go, not sure if seiko has that feature or not. Hope this helps and I’m not too late, don’t have notifications for KZbin running.
