Can you speak to the difference in feel between the 305 16x19 and the 290? I've heard conflicting things about the Whiteout 290 not being foam filled, while other sources say it is just like the others. Is it comparable feel, but one is just in a lighter package? Conversely, does the 290 feel slightly more hollow?

How would you compare hyper-g to black code 4s in the 16l gauge in terms of comfort and playability duration?
@tenniswarehouse9 сағат бұрын
I feel like the comfort is fairly similar, maybe slightly more comfortable with 4S. We would give Hyper-G the better rating for playability duration. Troy, TW

How is the QC if I want matched sticks?
@tenniswarehouse11 сағат бұрын
You can learn more about our racquet matching service if you are interested in two matched sticks here: www.tennis-warehouse.com/Racquet_Matching__Customization_Services/catpage-RACSERVICE.html While we haven't noticed a huge discrepancy in Solinco's specs, every racquet does have a bit of a room for error and we cannot guarantee 2 random frames ordered will be identical, so to be sure, we always advice taking advantage of the MRT service. Hope that helps, Michelle, TW

Im a frontennis player. Could you tell me if the head instinct pwr 115 is a good option?
@tenniswarehouse12 сағат бұрын
We have not played frontenis. Is the ball similar to a tennis ball? The Instinct PWR 115 is a very powerful racquet with a big sweetspot. If that is what you are looking for then it would be a great option. Cheers, Chris, TW

Hello CHRIS how would you compare the new mold Raquet VOLKL VOSTRA V9 against the one I used the C10 EVO , i am an advanced but 64 year old tennis player…🎾 looking for something more maneuverable , thanks cheers and success😊
@tenniswarehouse12 сағат бұрын
I like the feel and playability of the C10 EVO way more. It has that smooth and connected response like a classic Volkl. The Vostra V9 is more muted in comparison. Both are forgiving racquets with a good blend of power/control, are maneuverable and spin-friendly. The V9 has a little bit more power whereas the C10 EVO has more control. Hope that helps. Cheers, Chris, TW

I loved my 18x20 v9 demo and ordered 3 and had them matched by TW. They sent me 3 in the 10.9-10.95 oz range even though spec is 10.8 and I haven't been able to dial in on these for some reason. Strangely I like one stick more than the others even though the specs are pretty tight and close. Had a hard time finding a string to match (using diadem impulse 17 right now) and as a blade user since the KBlade these seem 'off'. The stringbed stability is inconsistent which always has been a strength of these racquets. (Impulse 16 is more uniform with less feel). Not sure but maybe it's time for me to move on. (Most of my strokes, BH, slice, serve, volleys can groove for a while but these sticks are not becoming automatic like previous gens, and FH is really sensitive to contact point)

@Tennis Warehouse - This question is for Jason Huang! I have a pair of these shoes and love them and find the D width is perfect for me in a size 11.5 as the 12 was too big. Would you say the New Balance X CT-Rally fit more narrower in the D width compared to the 996 in D Width?
@tenniswarehouse8 сағат бұрын
Yea, I found them to be fit slightly more snug. Probably because the 996 has a more flexible feeling upper compared the the CT Rally. We have free returns so best bet is probably to order a 11.5 and a 12 and return the one that doesn't fit. Good luck! Jason, TW

Troy, good day, have you tried the new mold VOSTRA V9 Volkl Raquet….i i find no review on it, and it looks like a good Raquet with Volkl arm friendly technology , i currently use the C10 EVO, thanks and success 😊 !
@tenniswarehouse14 сағат бұрын
I have tried the 305g Vostra V9, and I prefer the smoother more classic feel of the C10 EVO, but the V9 does provide a bit easier access to power in comparison. So I would go for the C10 EVO in terms of comfort, feel, and precision, however someone who wants a bit easier access to power (still in a control frame) might want to try out the V9 Vostra. Stay tuned though as I believe we will have some video reviews coming soon. Troy, TW

Hey Andy great tips on stringing the racket, I got a Wilson triumph Roland Garros 1 piece string , 2 knot , can you let me know how much length of string I need? Regards. Giuseppe
@tenniswarehouse12 сағат бұрын
A regular set of string will work just fine for you. It will be 12.2m and you will have plenty of string to knot off etc.
@upgradeyourtennis17902 күн бұрын
I enjoyed it as TW has consistently been the benchmark for as long as i can remember on KZbin for reviews but the constant fancy transition graphics can make it bit dizzying. Also I kind of just want to see them walk out and see how the ball flies off the racquet to get a good gauge if its going to suit my game or not. Slow mo, then chop and change scenes gets a bit annoying. That's just me.

Great review! I'm currently using hyper-g soft in my pure aero 2019 in the 16L (1.25) gauge at 53 pounds. I was thinking of trying regular hyper-g or black code 4s instead. Because I want a bit more spin, control and better tension maintenance and playability; without sacrificing too much comfort. What would you recommend?
@tenniswarehouse7 сағат бұрын
I think the regular Hyper-G would be a great option for better tension maintenance, but may find you might adjust tension slightly maybe a pound or two lower to compensate for the stiffness. Troy, TW

Ever since the Brexit I don't buy anything anymore from British webshops for the same exact reason. It's just like buying from an American or Japanese webshop, you pay Sales Tax TWICE. First to the shop and then AGAIN after your order passes customs. And they charge VAT on the shipping as well (at least they do in the NL). So i'm done with buying outside of Europe.

How does it compare to the Wilson Blade v9? More or less control? Better or not for flat shot and slice?
@tenniswarehouse3 күн бұрын
The control levels are pretty close, however the Blade v9 is a bit more control oriented, and this ATS Tour 98 provides a bit easier access to power and energy return. Both work well on flatter shots, and the slice, however the string spacing on this Tour 98 is slightly more dense than the average 16x19 so it works great on those flatter drive type of shots. What did Solinco do to ensure the squared edges of the Hyper-G don´t cut into the Hyper-G Round? THE number one concern with a hybrid of a shaped / edged string with a round one. Cheers!
@tenniswarehouse3 күн бұрын
It is the regular version of Hyper-G and it works well in the hybrid. I think in this case it plays well and the mains slide great on the round crosses, but I would usually try to stay away from a shaped or sharp poly when mixing with a softer string like multifilament. Troy, TW
@WaltKurtz683 күн бұрын
@@tenniswarehouse Thank you. That was exactly why I asked. So regular Hyper-G doesn't cut into Hyper-G round. I still don't know how they do it, though. But here you have it folks, apparently a hybrid of an edged and a round poly CAN work!
@tenniswarehouse12 сағат бұрын
It helps that this is a co-poly/co-poly hybrid, two very slick and durable strings. Multis are softer and also tend to be stickier both of which can lead to earlier notching in a full set or a hybrid. This Solinco hybrid should last you a similar amount of time as a regular set of Hyper G. Cheers, Chris, TW.
