Mr. K, a tall and humble man. Met him for a moment in Canterbury Records, on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena, CA. He was, as I was, flipping through rows of discs. A sweet person wrote this sweet tune. LOCAL HERO will always be a film favorite. 1983 was a different world, for sure!

Mark is a legend he sold off his guitars raised £million for charity this is so elegantly softly composed they enjoyed playing that as much as we enjoyed watching it and listening to it ,,these youngsters don't know what music is which is sad with techno beat these days

Eure Flötistin kann offenbar alles: Blockflöte, Querflöte, Tin whistle - ach ja, viel besser als das Original. Schade, dass ihr vor 4 Jahren aufgehört habt zu posten.

Hallo Leute, ist euch eigentlich klar, was euch gelingt? Ihr habt ein tolles Arrangement der Komposition, tragt dies mit der Virtuosität vor, die scheinbar einfach daher kommt, aber dabei eine enorme und unmittelbar spürbare Emotionalität auf Zuhörer überträgt. Die Flötistin, der Gitarrist spielen mit warmem und vollen Ton, der bei allem Staunen über die Instrumentenbeherrschung direkt ins Herz geht. Von wegen ein bisschen Pop. Euch gelingt eine der besten Interpretationen dieses Songs!

As an orchestra they are splendid but, for heavens sake, get rid of the female Bass player as she has no idea that she is meant to move her left hand up and down the frets to play it properly!
