Hmm have you tried win+ctrl+shift+b in the game start screen? It resets the graphics driver and I had to do it every time I booted up the game to unlock my fps past 100. Might not be related but it solved some of my issues. No one has seemed to update these fps mods since like 2022

@eightleafgaming I will test it later to see if it solves it, I watched several videos and got some ideas, I will test some mods to see if it solves it too. When I unlock the FPS the stuttering happens every 3 or 4 minutes, and even with it completely original without mods it happens every 10 or 15 minutes. I'm now using LossLess, but I wish I was playing with "real" FPS.

Have you ever played CP2077? Playing it with RT on is just delightful.

@@silverbashspam9701 I didn't play it with Path Tracing, just regular Ray Tracing and even then, it looked much more amazing with Ray Tracing On that without it.

Haha it took me way too long to start telling steam only to update my games when I launch them, then only start it through script extender. I've gotten mod lists completely obliterated in the past too! Cyberpunk still does it to me a lot.

I did get it at some point in the past and have been thinking about trying it again! it's kind of rough with no motion controls if I remember right, but it looks awesome.

In the flat version of skyrim I would say that's the case, but the creator of ENB hasn't dedicated a lot of time to the VR version,. so it's pretty bare bones. On the other hand community shaders has complex grass, grass that moves when you walk through it, hugely extended shadow distance and a bunch of other cool features too.

for sure, definitely more efficient! I dunno how well things would work if the wabbajack has patches included though, if you remove a mod that a patch relies on then things get more complicated.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out a good way, but I think I'll just have to screenshot the modlist. For one it's 200 gigs worth of mods (hah didn't think it got that high) and two, there are ini settings you'd need, some root folder stuff, and I'd have to probably talk to mod creators to distribute some of them, like ENB stuff especially. I'll shoot you a photo of the list later on though!

Yeah most mods will work! Best way is to tell if an SE mod will be compatible is to click on "Preview file contents" under the file you are going to download on nexus. Look at the file tree and see if there is a DLL file there. If there's an SE DLL file it won't work in VR.. Like engine fixes, papyrus scripts, ect need to be the VR specific version :D

Haha it's crazy to think if you didn't have a background in modding how frustrating it would be. I mod a lot and it still took me way too long to figure it out. All just to play the vanilla game lol

Well the mods are what broke them in the 1st place. It's like getting meds for something and getting sick and needed more drugs to fix that

Hey I totally forgot to do that! I usually put my settings in at the end. I have everything turned to maximum except for motion blur, chromatic abberation and film grain (which are all turned off)! Thanks for checkin it out

@@Chrushy Hey, I do for sure. Motion blur makes you lose a ton of clarity when moving around, it might be ok if you're playing at 30fps or below, but I don't like it at 60p and higher. Chromatic aberration is something I've spent a lot of money to avoid in photography lenses, and it's not a desirable trait so I turn that off too. Film grain is a bit more subjective but I find the crisp visuals to be more appealing!

Hey it's been a while since I've played the witcher but I would stick with the next gen mods for maximum compatibility!
