Dear Lord I am so tired fighting in this life. I find myself in a downcast position AGAIN. Please Lord, I just don’t have the strength. I physically hurt EVERY DAY after surviving cancer. Please don’t allow this current struggle to last long. I’m exhausted 🙏🏻✝️

Cowboy hats and sandals...hmmmm, what did God say to Moses, take OFF your sandals, for the ground you are standing on is HOLY, shouldn't the same apply to ANY hats worn in church? I find it VERY disrespectful to ANY man wearing a hat in church. I hope "mr cowboy" isn't a pastor, I wouldn't attend his church, I found him to be very disrespectful. Maybe he should read what Paul taught about a man covering his head in Corinthians. Hi Pastor John. Thank you so much for this series on Revelation. What are your thoughts on Matthew 24? Is that the Rapture or the Second Coming?

This is a God thing. The Lord gave me Jeremiah 6:16a 🤍🤍🤍 16 Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see,
And ask for the old paths, where the good way is,
And walk in it;
Then you will find rest for your souls. I heard a study on the CCA podcast Ripples from the rock prior. What was said between these 2 Pastors and the reflection on gave was Remember the days of old. Remember what your teachers have taught you. Which lead me to Jeremiah 6:16a. So I went back on my camera roll of my memories of old. I found 2. One morning before the sun came up. I was on the mission field and I climbed the highest rock on that mountain. I have to sit down because the wind almost knocked me over. So I sat I. That rock and watched the sun rise. As I posted those pictures and wrote out Jeremiah the Lord gave me Ecclesiastes 12 to tack on the back end. I later Made a Reel with the song called what a God. Of all my memories of old and the last with my grandma and part of my family on thanksgiving of 2023. As well as my birthday spent on lavender fields with my sisters. All very meaningful and significant. Then this morning… I see this study. I know it is not a coincidence. Being the fact that you have been one of my teachers of old and current. I haven’t listened to it yet. I am now. Curious what will be said in this and what the Lord wants to tell me. Pastor Chuck taught very well. There is no such things as coincidences only Devine appointments.

There is a dozen or more scriptural reasonings for a pretribulation rapture. It's like 12 lines that all go through one point. You can make one argument such as Revelation 3:20. "I will keep you from the hour of trial that will come upon the whole world to test those who dwell upon the earth." The whole world seems to clearly point to the tribulation and I will keep you from the hour of trial seems to clearly point to the rapture. That's just one scriptural reasoning but there are more. In earlier times when God sent judgment, He first delivered Noah and his family and then sent the flood and judged the earth. Before God sent fire and brimstone and judged Sodom and Gomorrah He first delivered Lot and his wife and daughters and then destroyed and judged these communities. Now this isn't a proof but it shows that God has delivered His people first and then sent judgment. That's not a proof, but it is a scriptural reason for a pretribulation rapture. And so on. These scriptural reasonings all intersect at one point and that point is the pre-tribulation rapture. I am ready to go home and escape all these things that will come upon the world. It's not because I in myself am worthy to escape these things in my own righteousness but Jesus's righteousness upon my behalf. And because Christ was righteous for me, how righteous and thus worthy I am to escape all these things that we can clearly see with our own eyes these prophesied events that are on the horizon. Jesus said that when we see these things begin to come to pass we are to lift up our heads and look up for our redemption draws near. Again another scriptural reasoning that intersects at the pretribulation rapture. Come Lord Jesus come! As 1 Thessalonians 5:9 tells us that we the church are not appointed for wrath but for salvation in Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13 reads that we are "looking for the blessed hope the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ." God's word gives us all kinds of solid reasons that if you have trusted in Jesus as your Savior and Lord, you will not go through the worst time in all human history according to Jesus in Matthew 24. And as the pastor teaches on 2 Thessalonians 2, the our gathering together with Him is the rapture, and the man of lawlessness is the Antichrist. When he comes, he initiates the 7 year tribulation according to Daniel 9:24-27. But he cannot be revealed until the one that restrains him is taken out of the way. The Restrainer is the Holy Spirit who restrains through believers. If we are raptured, the Holy Spirit cannot restrain through us. So the day of the Lord cannot begin until the "prince who is to come" is revealed, but he cannot be revealed until the Restrainer is out of the way. That will happen at the rapture and only after that event can the man of lawlessness be revealed and the last 7 years commences, another reason why the rapture must first commence and only afterwards the tribulation will begin.

I believe in the First And The Second Coming

I have a dozeh or so books in my library on sermon prep, by robinson, farmer hyles, stott, giibs, brooks, morgan, riley, lueking, faw, freeman, vines, brodus, shedd. So yea a pretty good collection. I love Morgan and Maclaren and Wiersbe for exposition. Pretty crazy all the good things I have like all of Ironside and Parker, etc. It's a world of pleasure. And I have to say for decades now we have listened daily to Calvary Chapel, like you and Skip, Courson and of course Smith. Also enjoy Hamrick who says Chuck was his pastor. Just to remind people, when you let God into your life, you will become a target for Satan. Why? Satan is not into the lost souls or those committing evil acts because they are already doing his bidding. Satan wants those that are strong in our Lord and he seeks to instill doubt.
